Knowing the correct number of correct hadeeth about the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, is one of important issues, and has two benefits, which are that to answer to two major problems: The first point is answering to the suspicion that the large part of the hadeeth has been lost; because of the difference between the words of the scholars in the number of ahaadeeth and what is found in books is considerable; Where are those ahaadeeth? Secondly, the visualization that the correct hadeeth is Sea without a coast prevents many people trying to memorize the correct hadeeth in order to be settled down in their memories or to be absorbed even in a book, and knowing that contributes to know how much effort is required to achieve, memorize or to absorb them. The researcher adopted the analytical approach, collecting words of imams and notice numbers of hadeeth's books, then analyzing and explaining them, and concluded that to these results: It is impossible for hadeeth to be counted accurately due to the fact that the different consideration of counters of plus words in some ahadeeths regarded whether as a new hadeeth or considered as part of the same hadeeth, these increases are many, and perhaps the novels of individual hadeeth’s books and copying it impacts on the inability to accurately counting it and agreed upon, and it becomes more complicated in counting correct and right hadeeth, because of the difference of critics in the acceptance and to respond in a considerable number of ahadeeths. The approximate number of prophetic hadeeth, which exists in all the books of Sunnah do not reach fifty thousand hadeeth, including the repetitive. On the other hand, without repetitive they are far less than forty thousand. The approximate number of correct hadeeth, which is correct to the Messenger of Allah bless him between eight thousand to ten thousand hadeeth, without repetitive. The number of the two correct books (Sahih Bukhari and Muslim) without repetitive almost four thousand hadeeths, altogether. Besides, between four thousand to almost six thousand hadeeths should be known, for those who want to accomplish or to achieve them or memorizing them unforgettably or to absorb them in a book. The main recommendations of the research are: The research centers who take care of Sunnah by technology must make sure more. These centers could be making a technical program to see how many hadeeths are there, calculating the percentage of phrases and common words among all the ahadeeths, to arrive at an approximate number of ahadeeths, thoroughly with whether repetitive or not.
