|a هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع مجموعات مكتبة الملك فاروق بجامعة أسيوط، باستخدام المنهج الببليوجرافي الببليومتري، وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على قائمة ببليوجرافية لتلك المجموعات؛ لدراسة الاتجاهات العددية، والنوعية، والموضوعية لها، والوقوف على أبرز النتائج، والتي كان من أهمها أن بلغ عدد مجموعة مكتبة الملك فاروق أو "مكتبة القبة" بجامعة أسيوط أربعمائة وثلاثة وستين (463) وعاء معلومات؛ توزعت على ثلاثة أشكال (الكتب، المخطوطات، الدوريات)، وكانت معظمها من الكتب بنسبة 94%، وجاءت "الديانات" على قمة الموضوعات التي تشملها هذه المجموعة بنسبة 65.3%، تليها "العلوم الاجتماعية" بنسبة 23.7%، كما أن هذه المجموعة لم تستقبل بذاتها في مكان خاص، أو قسم مميز يليق بمحتوياتها، وإنما توزعت ضمن مجموعات مكتبات الجامعة؛ ولذلك توصي الدراسة بتمييز هذه المجموعة في مكان خاص بها داخل الجامعة، وإعادة ترميمها، وتجليدها بما يليق بها، وبمحتوياتها القيمة، وكذلك تقديم خدمات مميزة لها؛ كإنشاء موقع إلكتروني خاص بها على شبكة الإنترنت، والارتقاء بمستوى العاملين القائمين على خدمات هذه المجموعة.

|f This study aimed to identify the reality of King Farouk Library collections at Assiut University, using the bibliographic bibliometric approach. The study relied on a bibliographic list of these collections to study the quantitative, qualitative, and objective trends and to identify the most prominent results, the most of which included: The number of collections of King Farouk Library or "El-Kobba Library" at Assiut University reached four hundred and sixty-three (463) information vessels distributed in three forms (books, manuscripts, journals). The majority of these vessels in the form of books at 94%, and the topic of "religions" ranked on top of the topics covered by this group at 65.3%, followed by "Social Sciences" at 23.7%. The collection was not contained in a special place or a special section appropriate to its contents; rather, it was distributed among the collections of the university's libraries. Therefore, the study recommends that this group be distinguished in its own place within the university, in addition to repairing and binding it as may suit it and its valuable contents besides providing distinctive services, such as the creation of its own website and the upgrading the staff involved in the services of this group.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2021
