المستخلص: Maidan El Masajid is located at el -Anfoushy district in Alexandria overlooking the Mediterranean. It's a square of both historical and touristic importance; it includes seven mosques and mausoleums which are: The Mosque of Abu el Abbas El- Morsy, the Mausoleum of El-Set Mandara, and the mosque of EL Bousery, The Mosque of El sheikh Ali Abu-El Fath, The Mosque of El Sheikh Muhamed Naser EL-Din and the Mausoleum of Fourteen Muhameds. Each of these monuments is distinguished with its artistic and architectural style. as the mosque of Abu El-Abbas built by the Italian architect Mario Rossi to evoke the Mamluk architectural style while the mosque of El-Bousseri Is rich with Ottoman decorative elements and parts of the lyrics of ell-Imam EL Bousseri Known as " Nahg El-Bourda". So the aim of the study is to shed the light to the historical background of the site and to discuss obstacles facing this important touristic site.
