Abstract: يهتم هذا المقال بالموضوعات الخرافية التي لها تماس مباشر بالحياة الاجتماعية والتصورات الذهبية البعيدة عن المنطق والعقل، والواضح تجذرها لدى سكان المغرب الأوسط في العصر الوسيط في شكل معتقدات تلاءمت مع البيئة الاجتماعية وطريقة تفكير المجتمع الذي أصبح هاضما منساقا وراء الخوارق بأنواعها، والتطير بقسميه التشاؤم والتفاؤل، ومصدقا لأي رجل يخرج فيهم ويدعي بأنه المهدي المنتظر، دون أن نهمش قصص الجن والغيلان.

This paper sheds light on the mythical topics that have a direct contact with the social life and the irrational and illogical intellectual imaginations. It is clear that these topics had been deeply rooted in the Middle West during the medieval era in the form of beliefs that went in harmony with the social atmosphere and the thought of the society which accepted and followed all the supernatural forms and the superstitions either pessimistically or optimistically, and believed any man who claimed to be the expected Mahdi, in addition to the stories of jinn and ghosts.
