المستخلص: Information Technology in healthcare Information technology advancements have contributed various impacts on patient experience in health care. The growing need for cost-efficacy, time management, and protective healthcare is driving the changes in present healthcare systems, demanding modern technology capabilities to deliver care. Its applicability in healthcare has had many benefits, for instance, facilitating health communication between patients and care providers. Patient confidentiality in Saudi Arabia Countries in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, have increased investment in health information technologies to enhance the efficacy and provision of healthcare in care centers. However, health information technology (HIT) has faced challenges primarily associated with patient information confidentiality. The idea of confidentiality in healthcare is vital as it builds the basis of care for both the patient and the care providers. Patients need to be confident to disclose important information on their health and trust that the healthcare professionals will appropriately use it to administer diagnosis and treatment. Perception of healthcare professionals towards IT Health professionals have their own opinions regarding the implementation and use of Information Technology in their daily duties. These perspectives are based on their experiences and knowledge regarding the application of IT systems.
