This study covers the Field producing from the Farrud reservoir of Middle Paleocene age consists of limestone and dolomitic limestone, overlain by Mabruk Member cap rock of anhydrite, shale and tight limestone section. This study included integration of petrography study and petrophysical study of reservoir properties from core analysis and borehole logs in sex wells, (RRR10, 29, 40, 43, 45, and 49) within Concession 11. The general geological framework has been obtained from petrographic study in well RRR43 within Concession 11 using thin sections and SEM plates, utilized to better understanding the Diagenesis and reservoir properties of the Farrud member in study area. The porosity is mainly intercrystalline and moldic type, as well the permeability is moderate (conventional core analysis: average 17% and 4.1md). Furthermore, the diagenetic processes in the Farrud deposits controlled the reservoir properties and quality, the sediment has undergone four major phases of diagenesis cementation, dolomitization, dissolution and compaction. The sediments of Farrud reservoir in this study was divided into four Ramp facies: Dolomitic Packstone facies, Wackestone facies, Packstone Peloidlas facies and Wackestone, foraminiferal Facies. Electrofacies of the study area also assessed as four main facies in studied wells, except in well RRR29-11, found first three main facies, according to the wireline logs and their alterations.
