The current study aimed to identify the extent to which adolescents watch Arabic and foreign science fiction series on satellite channels and electronic viewing platforms, and their motives for watching Arab and foreign science fiction series shown on satellite channels and electronic viewing platforms, and the most important topics and issues that adolescents prefer to watch in Arab and foreign science fiction series that are shown In satellite channels and electronic viewing platforms, as well as monitoring the extent to which adolescents’ attitudes have changed towards the future by watching Arab and foreign science fiction series that they follow on satellite channels and electronic viewing platforms. The field study sample consisted of (428) male and female adolescents from secondary school students, including (174) male and (254) female adolescents, whose ages ranged between (18-16) years, with an arithmetic mean of (17.24), and a standard deviation of (0.79). They were randomly selected from five educational departments in Cairo Governorate. A questionnaire was used (adolescents' attitudes towards the future) prepared by the researcher. The study reached several results, the most important of which are: The extent to which adolescents watch Arab and foreign series on satellite channels and electronic viewing platforms, according to gender, amounted to (%26.6), distributed among (%18.4) of the total vocabulary of the male sample, in contrast to (%32.3 of the total vocabulary of the female sample. And that the motives for adolescents watching Arab and foreign science fiction series shown on satellite channels and electronic viewing platforms are according to genre, as it came in the first place with a rate of (%65.3) of the total vocabulary of the study sample, distributed among (%63.0) of the total vocabulary of the male sample., compared to (%66.7) of the total vocabulary of the female sample.
