المستخلص: اشتمل هذا البحث على بيان تحقيق القرآن الكريم لأبعاد التنمية المستدامة الثلاثة (البعد البيئي والاجتماعي والاقتصادي) من خلال المحافظة على الضروريات الخمس، وهدف إلى تصحيح الاعتقاد ببعد الحضارة الإسلامية عن تحقيق متطلبات الحضارة، وتحقيق أبعاد التنمية المستدامة، وإظهار الأدلة القرآنية الدالة على سبق الإسلام (من خلال المحافظة على الضروريات الخمس) إلى رسم أسس التنمية المستدامة وتحقيق أبعادها، وبيان العلاقة الوطيدة بين محافظة الشريعة على الضروريات الخمس وبين تحقيق أبعاد التنمية المستدامة. واستعمل المنهج: الاستقرائي، التحليلي، الاستنباطي، وتوصل إلى سبق الشريعة الإسلامية وحضارتها إلى رسم أسس التنمية عموما والمستدامة خصوصا، وظهور العلاقة الوطيدة بين محافظة الشريعة على الضروريات الخمس وبين أبعاد التنمية المستدامة؛ إذ إن كلا منهما إذا فُقِد لم تجر مصالح الدنيا على استقامة.

This study examines Quran actualization of the three dimensions of sustainable development (environmental, social, and economic) through the preservation of the five necessities. It aims to correct the misconception that Islamic civilization is detached from achieving the requirements of civilization and sustainable development. The study highlights Quranic evidence demonstrating Islam's (through the preservation of the five necessities) precedence in establishing the foundations of sustainable development and achieving its dimensions. The study further clarifies the strong connection between the Sharia's preservation of the five necessities and the realization of sustainable development dimension. The inductive, analytical, and deductive methodology was employed. The study findings showed that Islamic Sharia and its civilization had long established the foundations of development in general and sustainable development in particular. It was also concluded that there was a close relationship between the Sharia's preservation of the five necessities and the dimensions of sustainable development. The loss of either would disrupt the proper functioning of worldly affairs.
