المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى رصد أنماط التعابير الإفصاحية في روايات الكاتب السعودي عبد العزيز بن صالح الصقعبي، من خلال روايته "رائحة الفحم"؛ حيث سلط البحث الضوء على التعابير الإفصاحية في الرواية ودلالات هذه التعابير. ويشتمل البحث في هيكله على مقدمة حول الأهداف والمنهج وأهمية الدراسة وما يتعلق بذلك، وتمهيد يتناول محورين (مفهوم التعابير الإفصاحية، والتعريف بالروائي عبد العزيز الصقعبي وروايته "رائحة الفحم")، بالإضافة إلى مبحثين رئيسين، يتناول الأول التعجب ودلالاته في الرواية، ويناقش الآخر التعابير الإفصاحية الأخرى في الرواية ودلالاتها، وتتضمن الخاتمة أهم النتائج والتوصيات، إضافة إلى فهرس للمصادر والمراجع. وقد وصل البحث إلى عدد من النتائج من أبرزها كثرة الأساليب الإفصاحية في الرواية نتيجة لما بنيت عليه الرواية أساسا من تعدد في الأحداث والمشاهد والأشخاص والتحولات والمفاجآت، كما أبرز البحث دور السياق في توجيه دلالات الأساليب الإفصاحية وإضفاء معان جديدة لبعضها، وكشف البحث كثافة أسلوب التعجب في الرواية بنوعيه القياسي والسماعي، وأثر التنغيم وطريقة الأداء في إبراز دور التعابير الإفصاحية وتعميق هذا الدور، كما أكد البحث خصوصية التعابير الإفصاحية من حيث بنيتها ودلالتها وحاجتها إلى توصيف علمي دقيق يوضح ماهيتها، ويصنفها ضمن الإطار الذي يجب أن تكون فيه.

This research aims at tracing patterns of disclosure in the literary output of the Saudi writer Abdulaziz Bin Saleh al- Saqabi through studying his novel "The Smell of Coal". The research sheds light upon disclosures in the mentioned novel and the significance of these expressions. The framework of this research includes an introduction which revolves around the objectives, the approach, and the importance of this study. Next, there is a preamble which handles two basic axes (the concept of disclosure and an introduction to the novelist Abdulaziz al-Saqabi and his novel "The Smell of Coal"). Moreover, there are two main research investigations. The first displays exclamation and its connotations in the novel while the second discusses disclosures in the novel and their significance. The research closes with a conclusion which includes the most important findings and recommendations. Then follows an index of sources and references. The research has reached several findings. One of the most outstanding findings is that there are numerous styles of disclosure in the mentioned novel because of the multiplicity of events, scenes, people, transformations, and surprises on which the novel was essentially built. The research has also highlighted the role of context in guiding the connotations of disclosure styles and giving new meanings to each other. The research has revealed the intensity of the style of exclamation in the novel in its standard and auditory types, the effects of toning and the way of performance in highlighting and deepening the role of disclosure expressions. The research has also confirmed the specificity of disclosure expressions in terms of their structure and connotation, their need for a precise scientific description of what they are and their classification within the framework in which they should be.
