المستخلص: جاء هذا البحث ليلقي الضوء على أحد مصطلحات الجرح والتعديل، لدى أئمة الجرح والتعديل وهو مصطلح "من لا يعرف صحيح حديثه من سقيمه". ومدى تأثيره على الراوي والمروي. أهداف البحث: الوقوف على معنى مصطلح "لا يعرف صحيح حديثه من سقيمه" عند أئمة الجرح والتعديل. من خلال جمع الرواة الذين أطلق عليهم هذا الوصف، وبيان أحوالهم من خلال الوقوف على أقوال المعدلين والمجرحين، ودراسة أحاديثهم، وبيان درجتها، وذكر المتابعات والشواهد. منهج البحث: اتبعت في هذه الدراسة المنهج الاستقرائي التحليلي، والمنهج الاستنباطي أيضا. أهم النتائج: أن وصف الراوي بكونه "لا يعرف صحيح حديثه من سقيمه" لا يعد تضعيفا للراوي في العموم أو ردا لروايته. إلا في حالتين الأولى: أن يجمع النقاد على ضعفه. والثانية: أن لا يتابع على روايته. أهم التوصيات: الاعتناء بألفاظ الجرح والتعديل التي لم تشتهر على ألسنة النقاد. وبيان دلالتها، ومدى تأثيرها على الراوي والمروي.

This research came to shed light on one of the terms of jarh and ta’deel used by the imams of jarh and ta’deel, which is the term "the one whose hadith is not authentic from its invalid." And the extent of its influence on the narrator and the narrated.. The research included: an introduction, a preface, two chapters, and a conclusion. Research objectives: To understand the meaning of the term "it is not known whether an authentic hadith is authentic or an incorrect one" according to the imams of jarh and ta’deel. By collecting the narrators who were given this description, and explaining their conditions by examining the sayings of the amended and the injured, studying their hadiths, explaining their degree, and mentioning the follow-ups and evidence. Research Methodology: In this study, I followed the inductive analytical method and the deductive method as well. The most important results: Describing the narrator as "not knowing whether his hadith is authentic or weak is not considered a weakening of the narrator in general or a rejection of his narration, except in two cases: the first is that the critics agree on his weakness, and the second is that he does not follow through on his narration. The most important recommendations: Pay attention to the offensive and ta’deel words that are not known among Sunnah critics. Explaining its significance and the extent of its influence on the narrator and narrated.
