المستخلص: يهدف البحث في محتواه إلى تناول تقنية المفاجأة في قصص «إحسان عبد القدوس»، وبيان أنماطها وأثرها في تحول سياقات السرد وعناصره المختلفة، وأثر ذلك على تشكيل أفكار القصص ومضامينها ومدى التطور والتحديث الذي حظيت به في قصصه ومواكبته لتطور الحياة، وأحداثها، وقضاياها ودلالته على قدرة وقوة الكاتب الإبداعية في تحقيق هذا التطوير والتحديث وتطويعه لمقتضيات الحياة وقضاياها المختلفة. وقد اتبعت في هذا البحث منهجا تحليليا تتجلى وظيفته الأدبية في تحليل وتفسير ظاهرة المفاجأة، والتعمق في كشف خصائصها المميزة لها في النصوص وتأثيراتها في عملية السرد وعناصرها المختلفة، ثم تقييمها ونقدها في ضوء نظرية السرد من خلال تعالقها بالمقام السردي، ثم استنباط نتائج هذا التعالق المحددة لفاعليتها في النصوص القصصية ومقامها السردي. واتجهت في هذا البحث وفقا لطبيعته وملامحه البارزة في النصوص إلى تناول مفرداته من خلال ثلاثة مباحث يسبقهما مقدمة وتمهيد وتعقبهما خاتمة، ففي المقدمة تحدثت عن موضوع البحث ودوافعه، والدراسات السابقة، ومنهج البحث ثم خطته، وفي التمهيد أوضحت ملامح من سيرة وحياة «إحسان عبد القدوس»، ثم عرفت بالمفاجأة وعلاقتها بالتحول المفاجئ، وفي المبحث الأول تناولت المفاجأة المحتملة من خلال نمطيها البارزين في القصص المحتمل بدليل لفظي وبدليل سياقي، وفي المبحث الثاني تناولت المفاجأة العكسية بأنماطها البارزة في القصص، والمتمثلة في الحدث المفاجئ العكسي، والشخصية المفاجئة العكسية، والفكرة المفاجئة العكسية، وفي المبحث الثالث تناولت المفاجأة المتنوعة بنمطيها المفترق والمزدوج، وفي الخاتمة رصدت أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث، والتي أظهرت مقدرة «إحسان عبد القدوس» وقوته الإبداعية الفذة في صياغة أفكار قصصه، وجسدت مرونة المفاجأة وطواعيتها لطبيعة الأفكار، وتبعا لذلك تطورت المفاجأة في سياقات القصص تطورا واضحا من المفاجأة المفردة إلى المفاجأة المتعددة تعددا متوالدا أو متنوعا، تحول البناء في إطاره من الخيالية إلى الواقعية، ومن السطحية إلى العمق، ومن الواقعي إلى الجدلي، ومن الجاد إلى الهزلي، ومن الإخباري إلى البحثي.

The research aims in its content to address the surprise technique in the stories of "Ihsan Abdel Quddous", and to clarify its patterns and its impact on the transformation of narrative contexts and its various elements, and the impact of that on the formation of the ideas of the stories and their contents and the extent of development and modernization that they have enjoyed in his stories and keeping pace with the development of life, its events, and its issues and its indication of the writer's creative ability and strength in achieving this development and modernization and adapting it to the requirements of life and its various issues. In this research, I followed an analytical approach whose literary function is manifested in analyzing and interpreting the phenomenon of surprise, delving into revealing its distinctive characteristics in texts and its effects on the narrative process and its various elements, then evaluating and criticizing it in light of the narrative theory through its relationship to the narrative situation, then deducing the results of this relationship that determine its effectiveness in narrative texts and their narrative situation. In this research, according to its nature and prominent features in the texts, I headed to address its vocabulary through three chapters preceded by an introduction and a preface and followed by a conclusion. In the introduction, I talked about the research topic and its motives, previous studies, the research methodology and then its plan. In the preface, I explained features of the biography and life of “Ihsan Abdel Quddous”, then I defined surprise and its relationship to sudden transformation. In the first chapter, I addressed the potential surprise through its two prominent patterns in the stories, which are possible with verbal evidence and contextual evidence. In the second chapter, I addressed the reverse surprise with its prominent patterns in the stories, represented by the reverse surprise event, the reverse surprise character, and the reverse surprise idea. In the third chapter, I addressed the diverse surprise with its two separate and dual patterns. In the conclusion, I monitored the most important results reached by the research, which showed the ability of “Ihsan Abdel Quddous” and his unique creative strength in formulating the ideas of his stories, and embodied the flexibility and malleability of surprise. Due to the nature of ideas, and accordingly, surprise in the contexts of stories has developed clearly from a single surprise to a multiple surprise, a multiplicity that is generative or diverse, the structure has transformed within its framework from the imaginary to the realistic, from the superficial to the profound, from the realistic to the dialectical, from the serious to the comic, and from the informative to the research.
