المستخلص: تحقق عقوبة العمل لأجل المنفعة العامة نوعا من التوازن بين الدور الزجري والهدف الإصلاحي للعقوبة دون حرمان الجاني من حريته من خلال الحرص على إبقائه في محيطه الأسري والمهني، فضلا عن كونها تقلل من حدة آثار الوصم الاجتماعي على الشخص المدان، كما أنها تتيح إمكانية استغلال طاقات ومؤهلات الجاني لفائدة المنفعة العامة، على نحو يجعل المحكوم عليه في قلب التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية.

the community service penalty strikes a balance between the punitive dimension and the rehabilitative goal of the sanction, while preserving the freedom of the offender. This system allows the individual to remain in their family and professional environment while mitigating the severe effects associated with the social stigma that weighs on the convicted person. In addition, this measure offers the possibility of putting the convicted person's skills and energies at the service of the public interest, thus promoting their integration into the process of economic and social development.

La peine de travail d’intérêt général établit un équilibre entre la dimension punitive et l'objectif de réhabilitation de la sanction, tout en préservant la liberté du contrevenant. Ce dispositif permet à l'individu de demeurer dans son cadre familial et professionnel, tout en atténuant la rigueur des effets liés à la stigmatisation sociale qui pèse sur le condamné. Par ailleurs, cette mesure offre l'opportunité d'exploiter les compétences et les énergies du condamné au service de l'intérêt public, favorisant ainsi son intégration dans le processus de développement économique et social.
