المستخلص: تروم هذه الورقة البحثية تسليط الضوء على الجهود المبذولة من طرف الدولة الجزائرية والمؤسسات الفاعلة للحفاظ على اللغة العربية بالجزائر وقطع الصلة بتركة الاستعمار الفرنسي، ودفع الجهود لتحقيق التعريب الذي عرف سجالا كبيرا في الجزائر بعيد الاستقلال، وسنحاول التفصيل في كيفية التخطيط لهذه القضية الشائكة التي أسالت الكثير من الحبر، وتعدت ذلك من خلال تحولها إلى مسألة صراع بين أطراف فاعلة في المنظومة السياسية غداة الاستقلال بين أطراف مدافعة عن فكرة التعريب وأطراف أخرى ترى الاتجاه صوب التعريب آنذاك خطوة مستعجلة غير ذات جدوى، وقد خبت نار هذه المعركة غير المعلنة حينا من الزمن خاصة مع إنشاء المجلس الأعلى للغة العربية الذي تولى زمام التعريب برسمه هيئة استشارية لدى رئاسة الجمهورية، وقد عمل هذا المجلس منذ إنشائه على دفع عجلة التعريب في بلادنا من خلال منشوراته وندواته وملتقياته التي يحتضنها دوريا، وسنحاول إبراز أثر هذه الخطوة التاريخية في الحفاظ على كينونة الأمة وانتمائها الحضاري وترسيخ الأمن اللغوي أن عبثت به أيادي الاستعمار وحاولت طمسه وإحلال الفوضى اللهجية محله وجعل العربية غريبة في دارها وأجنبية بين ظهراني سواد أهلها.

This research paper aims to shed light on the efforts made by the Algerian state and active institutions to preserve the Arabic language in Algeria, break the connection with the legacy of French colonialism, and push efforts to achieve Arabization, which witnessed great controversy in Algeria shortly after independence. We will try to detail how to plan this thorny issue that has asked many questions. Of ink, and it went beyond that by turning into an issue of conflict between active parties in the political system in the wake of independence, between parties defending the idea of Arabization and other parties who saw the trend towards Arabization at that time as a hasty and useless step, and the fire of this undeclared battle was extinguished for a period of time. Especially with the establishment of the Supreme Council for the Arabic Language, which assumed the reins of Arabization in its capacity as an official advisory body to the Presidency of the Republic. Since its establishment, this Council has worked to advance the wheel of Arabization in our country, through its publications, seminars, and forums that it holds periodically. We will try to highlight the impact of this historic step in preserving On the identity of the nation and its cultural affiliation, and we will try to explain the role of Arabization in consolidating the linguistic security that the hands of colonialism tampered with, and tried to obliterate and replace with dialectal chaos, making Arabic a stranger in its homeland and a foreigner among its people.
