المستخلص: تستند الدراسة الحالية على الصراع والرؤية المتناقضة بين الشرق والغرب بين مستشرق فرنسي ومستغرب مصري. وتتمحور محاور البحث حول العرض السردي والبصري والرسومي لكل ثقافة وتتذكر التقنيات الغربية في تمثيل الشرق وفقا لإدوارد سعيد في كتابه Orientalism: The East created in the West. تتضمن الدراسة ثلاث نقاط مستغربية وتعريف الذات الثقافية وصورة المرأة والاستشراق بين السيطرة والثنائية ومحورية المكان وعالم الطباعة العربي في وصف باريس وباريس الجزائر والإسكندرية. يعتقد ديدييه جازينادو أن مفاهيم الشرق والغرب غامضة ويوصي بترك هذه الأسماء. يجب احترام فرادة كل ثقافة وعلاقتها بالأخرى في عصر العولمة التي تركت بصمتها على العالم بأسره. يخلق تعريف الذات الثقافية في مواجهة الاستعلاء والثنائية نوعا من الدينامية والرغبة في تقليل الفجوة في التأخر العلمي ومواجهة الصورة السلبية للشرق. يفضل الخبراء اليوم مصطلح "دراسات الشرق" على الاستشراق لأنه غامض وشامل جدا ويعطي خلفية للاستعمار الأوروبي في القرنين التاسع عشر والعشرين ويلاحظ أن الأعمال الأدبية الفرنسية حول الشرق هي أكبر من أعمال المصريين حول الغرب.

The current study is built on the conflict and the contradictory vision of the East and the West between a French orientalist and an Egyptian Occidentalist. The narrative, visual, and graphic presentation of each culture is the main focus of the current research. To remember the Western techniques of representing the East according to Edward Said in his book: Orientalism: The East created in the West. The research includes three points: Occidentalism and self-definition of culture and the image of women and Orientalism between control and bilateral and the centrality of the place and the world of Arabic printing in the description of Paris and Paris Algeria and Alexandria. Didier Jazinado believes that the Eastern and Western concepts are vague and recommends leaving these names. The uniqueness of each culture and its relationship to others must be respected in the age of globalization, which has left its mark on the whole world. The self-definition of culture in the face of arrogance and duality creates a kind of dynamism and a desire to bridge the gap of scientific delay and confront the negative image of the East. Today, specialists prefer the term "oriental studies" to orientalism because it is obscure and very general and gives the background to European colonialism in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. It is noted that the French literary works on the east, are the larger than the works of Egyptians on the West.
