تناول البحث ميداناً هاماً من الميادين التي بذل المسلمون فيها جهداً وهو ميدان الحديث النبوي الشريف وقد جاء البحث مقتصراً على ما بذلت المرأة من جهد ودور في هذا المجال وما قامت به من حرص على سماع الحديث النبوي الشريف سواء كان عن طريق حضور مجالس الرسول (صلى الله عليه واله وسلم) ثم مجالس الصحابة والعلماء في الفترات التالية فحرصوا على حضور هذه المجالس وتدوين الأحاديث والأمور الهامة وطرح ما أشكل عليهن من أمور الدين. كما يهدف البحث إلى إبراز جهود المرأة في نشر الحديث وعلومه، وكان اهتمام المرأة بالحديث تعلما وتعليماً نابعاً من شعورها بالمسؤولية فهي مكلفة بالتعلم والدعوة والإصلاح. وظهرت في بلاد الشام عند كبير من النساء العالمات في الحديث أطلق عليهن لقب المحدثات والمسندات اشتهرن بطلب الحديث وقراءته من خلال حضورهن المجالس الخاصة بالحديث والارتحال في طلبه ثم إتقانه وحفظه والبدء بروايته حتى وصلت المحدثة إلى رواية الحديث على عدد كبير من العلماء الرجال من خلال مجالس علمية وفكرية، واجزن الحديث لعدد منهم حتى وصلن إلى مرحله فقن فيه كثير من فحول الأمم من العلماء والمفكرين، وذلك يتضح من خلال الاطلاع على كتب التراجم والكتب الخاصة بالحديث النبوي الشريف.
The research dealt with an important field of the fields in which Muslims made an effort, which is the field of the noble Prophetic hadith. The research was limited to the efforts made by women and their role in this field, and their keenness on the noble Prophet's hadith, whether by attending the councils of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and then the gatherings of the companions and scholars in the following periods, so they were keen to attend these councils and write down hadiths and matters Inspiring him and putting forward the issues of religion that were problematic for them. The research also aims to highlight the efforts of women, that is, the dissemination of hadith and its sciences, and the woman's was interesting to learning and education stems from her sense of responsibility, as she is charged with learning, advocacy and reform. And a large number of women scholars appeared in the Levant, who were called muhaddiths and musnads. The women became famous for requesting and reciting hadith through attending the hadith councils and traveling in their request. Then mastered it memorized it, and began to narrate it until the almuhadathat reached his narration by a large number of scholars of men and summarized a number of them until they reached a stage in which many scholars and thinkers of the nations were perfected, and this is evident by looking at the books of translations and books related to the noble Prophetic hadith.
