المستخلص: إن لكل فن من فنون الأدب العربي عناصر يرتكز عليها، وتكون منطلقًا للدراسة والنقد. كذلك الرّواية فنّ من هذه الفنون الذي يحتوي على عدة عناصر، من دونها تفقد مقوماتها لإيصال الرسالة، فلا بد من أن تظهر هذه العناصر في توليفة تجعلها في قالب روائي، فلا يشعر المتلقي بخروجها عنه. ومن ضمن هذه العناصر الزمان والمكان. يُعد كل من الزمان والمكان عنصرين متلازمين، يرتبطان ارتباطًا وثيقًا بالشخصيات وحركتها، وتكمن أهمّيتهما في كونهما من العناصر التكوينية للرّواية؛ فالزمن هو محور الرّواية وعمودها الفقري الذي يشدّ أجزاءها، كما أنّه محور الحياة ونسيجها. ومن خلال اعتناء الكاتب بالمكان، نستطيع أن نلمس حالة التأثر والتأثير بينه وبين الشخصيات. ولما كان كلّ عنصر روائي يستحق دراسة مستقلة، عمدنا إلى اختيار المكان في رواية جبور الدويهي "مطر حزيران" لندرسه ونحلّل دوره في العمل الرّوائي، وأبعاده ودلالاته، انطلاقا من الأماكن المذكورة في الرّواية، وأهميتها في مسار الحدث وفي حياة الشخصيات، لاسيما إيليا الذي كان يبحث عن حقيقة مقتل والده وهويّته. والهدف من ذلك معرفة إذا كان يمكن عد المكان بطلًا آخر في الرّواية، على غرار غيره من العناصر المساهمة في تفعيل الحدث، وذلك وفق منهج وصفي تحليلي.

Each art of the Arabic Literature has elements on which it is based, and which are a starting point for study and criticism. Likewise, the novel is one of these arts which contains several elements, without which it loses its components to convey the message, so these elements must appear in a kind of blend that puts them in a novelistic form, so that the receiver won't notice when these elements are outside the form. Among these elements are time and place. Time and space are two inseparable elements, closely related to the characters and their movement, and their importance lies in the fact that they are among the formative elements of the novel; for time is the axis of the novel and its backbone that holds its parts together, just as it is the axis of life and its texture. And through the writer's importance of time, we can sense the state of influence and impact between him and the characters. Since each narrative element deserves an independent study, we intended to choose the place in Jabbour Douaihy's novel: "June Rain" in order to study and analyze its role in the novel, in addition to its dimensions and implications, based on the places mentioned in the novel, and their importance in the course of the event and in the lives of the characters, especially Elia, who was searching for the truth of his father's murder and his identity. This aims to know if the place can be considered another hero in the novel, like other elements contributing to activating the event, according to a descriptive and analytical approach.
