المستخلص: يعد تلوث المياه اليوم واحدا من أبرز القضايا البيئية على الصعيد العالمي، خاصة في مواجهة التحديات المتزايدة الناتجة عن النمو السكاني والعمراني، إضافة إلى قضايا التغير المناخي. ومع ذلك، فإن معالجة هذا الموضوع من غير دراسة مصادر هذا التلوث يعطي صورة غير كاملة. لذا فإننا سنقوم في هذا المقال بمعالجة هذه الإشكالية من منظور جغرافي، عبر البحث عن مصادر تلوث المياه والمنهجيات المتبعة لتقييم تأثيرها. بدايةً، سنقدم أنواع استخدامات الأراضي التي تؤدي إلى تلوث المياه، ثم سنقوم بمراجعة عامة للأدبيات المعالجة لهذه الإشكالية عبر استعراض اثنتي عشرة دراسة أجريت في مناطق مختلفة حول العالم. أخيرًا، سنعرض ونحلل المنهجيات العلمية المتبعة في ست من هذه الدراسات ما سيسمح لنا بالوصول إلى استنتاجات تشتمل على الطرق والأدوات العلمية المتبعة اليوم في معالجة هذه الإشكالية. سيسمح هذه التحليل أيضًا بملاحظة أوجه التشابه والاختلاف بين مختلف المنهجيات، وتحديد الاتجاهات العامة في منهجية تقييم تأثيرات استخدام الأراضي على جودة المياه.

Water pollution is today one of the main environmental concerns globally, particularly with the growing challenges posed by demographic development, rapid urbanization, and climate change. However, it would be incomplete to address this issue without examining the sources of this pollution. This article approaches the question from a geographical perspective, focusing on the sources of contamination and the methodologies used to study them. We will first present the types of land use that contribute to water pollution. Then, a general overview will be provided based on the analysis of a dozen studies conducted in different regions of the world. Finally, we will discuss the methodological approaches adopted in six of these studies to highlight the differences and similarities between them. The analysis of these methodologies will lead to a synthesis of emerging trends in assessing the impacts of land use on water quality.

De nos jours, la contamination de l’eau figure parmi les enjeux environnementaux les plus préoccupants à l’échelle mondiale, particulièrement face aux défis croissants du développement démographique, de l’urbanisation rapide et du changement climatique. Cependant, il serait incomplet de traiter cette problématique sans examiner les sources de cette pollution. Cet article aborde la question sous un angle géographique, en se concentrant sur les sources de contamination et les méthodologies employées pour les étudier. Nous proposons d’abord une présentation les différents types des occupations du sol qui contribuent à cette pollution. Ensuite, un état des lieux général sera dressé à partir de l’examen d’une douzaine d’études réalisées dans différentes régions du monde. Enfin, nous exposerons les approches méthodologiques adoptées dans six de ces études afin de mettre en évidence leurs différences et similitudes. L’analyse des méthodologies de ces recherches aboutira à une synthèse des tendances émergentes dans le traitement de cette problématique.
