المستخلص: سعت الدراسة إلى رصد دور صفحة النيابة العامة المصرية على فيس بوك في تشكيل وعي الجماهير تجاه قضايا المجتمع، حيث أجرى الباحث دراسة ميدانية لعينة من متابعي الصفحة قوامها 400 مبحوث، وخلصت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج أبرزها أن 20% من عينة الدراسة يتابعون صفحة النيابة العامة ضمن صفحات مؤسسات حكومية أخرى، وأن 43.7% من عينة الدراسة تتابع صفحة النيابة أحيانا، وتصدرت قضايا التيك توك قضايا المجتمع التي يفضل عينة الدراسة البحث عنها عبر صفحة النيابة العامة بنسبة 41% من عينة الدراسة، تلتها قضية التحرش بطفلة المعادي بنسبة 23.5%، تلتها قضية انتحار فتاة سيتي ستارز بنسبة 21.5%، وفي المؤخرة قضايا الفساد الحكومي بنسبة 14.25%، كما خلصت الدراسة إلى أن سبب (الحصول على الرواية الرسمية حول القضايا) في مقدمة أسباب متابعة عينة الدراسة لقضايا المجتمع من خلال صفحة النيابة العامة بنسبة 60.3% من عينة الدراسة، ثم سبب (لعدم الثقة في أي معلومات حصلت عليها من وسائل أخرى حول القضايا) في المرتبة الثانية بنسبة 32.5%.

The role of the Egyptian Public Prosecution's Facebook page in building citizens' awareness of societal issues- a field study The study seeks to monitor the role of the Egyptian Public Prosecution's Facebook page in building public awareness regarding societal issues. The researcher conducted a field study of a sample of the page's followers, consisting of 400 respondents. The study concluded with many results, most notably that 20% of the study sample follows the Public Prosecution page on the pages of other government institutions, and that 43.7% of the study sample follows the Public Prosecution page sometimes. The study also concluded that Tik Tok cases topped the societal issues that the study sample preferred to search for on the Public Prosecution page, at a rate of 41% of the study sample, followed by the case of harassment of a Maadi girl, at a rate of 23.5%, followed by the case of the suicide of a City Stars girl, at a rate of 21.5%, and at the bottom were government corruption cases, at a rate of 14.25%. The study also concluded that the reason for (obtaining the official version of the cases) is at the forefront of the reasons for the study sample's follow-up of community issues through the Public Prosecution's page by 60.3% of the study sample, then the reason for (lack of confidence in any information obtained from other means about the cases). In second place with 32.5%.
