المستخلص: The habitat of El-ksour represents a model of the traditional habitat, it is found in the Saharan region of Algeria, the architectural form and the mode of organization of the internal and external space of this habitat represents a set of socio-cultural caracteristics of traditional society, it is built from materials available in the Saharan regions such as palms and clay, these construction materials were chosen according to criteria of solidity and adaptation to the Saharan climatic conditions.

L’habitat d’El-ksour représente un modèle de l’habitat traditionnel, il se trouve dans les régions sahariennes d’Algérie, la forme architecturelle et le mode d’organisation de l’espace interne et externe de cet habitat représente un ensemble de caractéristiques socioculturelles de la société traditionnelle, il est construit à partir des matériaux disponible dans les régions sahariennes comme par exemple : les palmes et l’argile, ces matériaux de construction ont été choisis selon des critères de solidité et d’adaptation avec les conditions climatiques sahariennes.
