المستخلص: ينجلي في هذا البحث ما لعلامات الضبط من الفوائد واللطائف، وما تفضي إليه معرفة ضبط الحرف الواحد فضلا عما فوقه، من تحقيق حقه وما يستحقه، مما يساعد ولا ريب على قراءته وتأديته على نحو صحيح، وليست معرفة اصطلاحات الألوان ودلالاتها إلا من ذلك، كما يظهر فيه مقدار ما حظي به علم النقط والشكل من اهتمام كبير من قبل الصحابة والتابعين -رضوان الله عليهم أجمعين- ومن تبعهم من علماء المسلمين حيث بذلوا جهودا عظيمة في سبيل إتمام ما بدأه سلفهم من النقاط، وقد عرض البحث شيئا من مظاهر ذلك الاهتمام متمثلا في عدة جوانب، منها: جمع عثمان المصحف ونسخه نسخا مع بيان حال تلك المصاحف، وما انتهت إليه من الأمصار، ومنها: ابتداء تنقيط المصاحف وجهود العلماء في ذلك، ومنها: بيان علامات الضبط وما يستعمل فيها من الألوان مع بيان مدلولاتها، وقد صدر البحث بمقدمة عامة، فترجمة للداني إمام هذا العلم، تلاها تعريف بعلم نقط المصاحف، كما تضمنت الخاتمة نتائج هذا البحث.

It is evident in this research what the signs of control of the benefits and subtleties, and what leads to the knowledge of the control of one letter as well as what is above, of achieving its right and what it deserves, which undoubtedly helps to read and perform it correctly, and not to know the color conventions and their connotations only from that, as it shows the amount of great attention received by the science of points and shape by the Companions and followers- may God be pleased with them all- and those who followed them from Muslim scholars where they made great efforts in order to Completion of what began by their predecessor of the points, the research has presented something of the manifestations of that interest represented in several aspects, including: Othman collected the Qur'an and copied copies with an indication of the status of those Qur'ans, and the conclusion of the lands, including: the beginning of the dotting of the Qur'an and the efforts of scientists in that, including: the statement of the signs of control and the colors used in them with a statement of their meanings, and the research was issued with a general introduction, a translation of the Dani Imam of this science, followed by a definition of the science of the points of the Qur'an, and the conclusion included the results of this research.
