This study aims to test the role of social capital in improving the performance of the economic enterprise by conducting a field study at the Phosphate Mines Company, SOMIPHOS Tebessa. A questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data pertaining to the research variables; it was distributed to a target sample of 50 employees during a specific period of time (February 2021). SPSS Software– Statistical Package for the Social Sciences – was used as a tool of statistical analysis to examine the data collected and test the validity of the study’s hypotheses. The findings of the study are as follows: • The Phosphate Mines Company SOMIPHOS (Tebessa) develops effective strategies for promoting social capital. • It also works to improve its performance by using different methods. • There is a statistically significant relationship at the significance level of 5% between social capital and improving performance at SOMIPHOS. |
