المستخلص: هذه الدراسة بعنوان الأدوات النحوية بين سيبويه والمحدثين دراسة وصفية تحاول إلقاء الضوء على اهتمام النحاة قديما وحديثا بالأدوات سواء أكانت روابط، أم حروفا للمعاني في نشأتها المبكرة وذلك في كتاب سيبويه، ومحاولة الوصول إلى منهج سيبويه في عرضه للأدوات النحوية؛ لأن النحو العربي ذو ارتباط وثيق بالمعنى والسياق، وتلعب الروابط فيه دورا كبيرا، وقد قسمت الدراسة إلى: مقدمة، وبها أهمية الموضوع وسبب اختياره والهدف منه، وتمهيد بعنوان: المنهج الوصفي خصائصه ورواده، ويتضمن التعريف بالمنهج الوصفي، ومعرفة خصائصه، ورواده. وثلاثة مباحث: المبحث الأول بعنوان: الأدوات النحوية وخصائصها، وتضمن التعريف اللغوي، والاصطلاحي للأدوات، ثم أنواع الأدوات، ثم خصائص الأدوات. المبحث الثاني بعنوان: الأدوات النحوية عند سيبويه، وتضمن تعريف سيبويه للأدوات، والمنهج المتبع لدى سيبويه في دراسته للأدوات وعلاقة الأدوات بالزمن النحوي عند سيبويه. المبحث الثالث بعنوان: الأدوات النحوية عند المحدثين، وتناول الأدوات عند بعض علماء العرب المحدثين كإبراهيم أنيس، ومهدي المخزومي، وتمام حسان، وموقفهم من تناول القدماء لها، والمنهج الوصفي بين سيبويه والمحدثين. ثم أعقبت هذه المباحث بخاتمة تتضمن أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة، وفهرس المصادر والمراجع.

This study, entitled Grammatical Tools between Sibawayh and the Modernists, is a descriptive study that attempts to shed light on the interest of ancient and modern grammarians in tools, whether they are connections or letters for meanings, in their early inception in Sibawayh’s book, and an attempt to reach Sibawayh’s approach in his presentation of grammatical tools. Because Arabic grammar is closely linked to meaning and context, and connections play a major role in it, the study was divided into: an introduction, which explains the importance of the topic, the reason for choosing it, and its purpose, and a preface entitled: The descriptive method, its characteristics and pioneers, includes introducing the descriptive method, knowing its characteristics, and its pioneers. Three sections: The first section is entitled: Grammatical tools and their characteristics, and includes the linguistic and terminological definition of tools, then types of tools, then characteristics of tools. The second section is entitled: Grammatical tools according to Sibawayh, and it includes Sibawayh’s definition of tools, the approach followed by Sibawayh in his study of tools, and the relationship of tools to grammatical time according to Sibawayh. The third section is entitled: Grammatical tools according to the hadith scholars, and the treatment of the tools according to some modern Arab scholars, such as Ibrahim Anis, Mahdi Al-Makhzoumi, and Tamam Hassan, and their position on the ancients’ treatment of them, and the descriptive approach between Sibawayh and the hadith scholars. These sections were then followed by a conclusion that included the most important findings of the study, and an index of sources and references.
