المستخلص: تعد زخارف الحرمين الشريفين في مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة كنزا فنيا وتاريخيا فريدا، يمثل قمة التعبير عن الهوية الإسلامية والجمالية. هدف هذا البحث إلى ترسيخ مفاهيم الأصالة والتراث الإسلامي وإبراز القيم الفنية والجمالية لزخارف الحرمين الشريفين وتوظيفها في تطوير سجاد الصلاة العصرية، ربطا للأصالة بالمعاصرة، والمساهمة في تحقيق التنمية الاقتصادية وفقا لرؤية ٢٠٣٠ في المملكة العربية السعودية. اعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي لتحليل ووصف زخارف الحرمين الشريفين وطرق تصنيع سجاد الصلاة، إضافة إلى المنهج التطبيقي. تم استحداث (١٥) تصميما لسجاد الصلاة مستوحاة من هذه الزخارف. وقد تم تقييم التصميمات المقترحة من قبل (١٠) متخصصين في المجال، باستخدام أداة دراسة معدة لفحص مدى تحقيق أهداف البحث وفرضياته. أظهرت النتائج إيجابية آراء المتخصصين تجاه التصميمات المقترحة من الجوانب الجمالية والوظيفية والاقتصادية. وكانت أهم التوصيات إجراء دراسات متعمقة حول آليات وطرق الاستفادة من زخارف الحرمين الشريفين في تصنيع منتجات متعددة تشمل الإكسسوارات المنزلية، لزيادة فاعلية توظيف هذه الزخارف في المجتمع. وإدراج مقرر حول "زخارف الحرمين الشريفين" ضمن الخطة الدراسية لأقسام تصميم الأزياء والأشغال الفنية في الجامعات السعودية. وضرورة تزويد معامل الكليات التطبيقية والتقنية والهندسية بماكينات تصنيع سجاد الصلاة وبرامج التصميم المتخصصة، بهدف تدريب الطلاب على إنتاج هذا النوع الهام من السجاد وتسهيل تنفيذ الأبحاث التطبيقية لطلاب الدراسات العليا. وتحفيز المستثمرين على تصنيع سجاد الصلاة عبر إنشاء صناعات متوسطة وصغيرة، ودعم الأسر المنتجة، لسد الفجوة بين الطلب والإنتاج المحلي والحد من الاعتماد على المنتجات المستوردة.

The ornamentation of the Two Holy Mosques (Al-Haram Al-Sharif in Makkah and Al- Masjid Al-Nabawi in Madinah) is a unique artistic and historical treasure, representing the pinnacle of Islamic identity and aesthetics. This research aimed to consolidate the concepts of Islamic authenticity and heritage, highlight the artistic and aesthetic values of the Two Holy Mosques' ornamentation, and employ them in the development of contemporary prayer rug designs. This links authenticity with modernity and contributes to achieving economic development in line with the Saudi Vision 2030. The research adopted the descriptive method to analyze and detail the ornamentation of the Two Holy Mosques and the manufacturing processes of prayer rugs, in addition to the applied method. Fifteen (15) prayer rug designs were developed, inspired by these unique motifs. The proposed designs were evaluated by ten (10) field specialists using a customized study tool designed to examine the extent to which the research objectives and hypotheses were achieved. The results showed positive opinions from the specialists regarding the proposed designs from the aesthetic, functional, and economic standpoints. The most important recommendations included conducting in-depth studies on the mechanisms and methods of utilizing the ornamentation of the Two Holy Mosques in the manufacturing of various products, including home accessories, to increase the effectiveness of employing these motifs in society. Furthermore, it was recommended to include a course on"The Ornamentation of the Two Holy Mosques" within the curriculum of fashion design and applied arts departments in Saudi universities. The research also stressed the necessity of equipping the laboratories of applied, technical, and engineering colleges with prayer rug manufacturing machinery and specialized design software to train students in producing this important type of rug and facilitate the execution of applied research for postgraduate students. Finally, stimulating and encouraging investors to manufacture prayer rugs through the establishment of small and medium-sized enterprises and supporting productive families were recommended to bridge the gap between demand and local production and reduce reliance on imported products.
