استهدف البحث تقديم الفرص والتحديات لدول الجوار والساحل إزاء نموذج السياسة المغربية. وتناول البحث محورين أساسيين. الأول ناقش التنافس الاقتصادي للقوى الدولية الكبرى على دول القارة الأفريقية وفرص المملكة المغربية في الاستفادة منه. وذلك من خلال عرض مجموعة من الآليات والإجراءات التي هدفت الولايات المتحدة لرصده. ومعطيات انتهاج سياسة خارجية حديثة وفعالة للمغرب. والمحور الثاني تتبع السياسة الخارجية المغربية والتحديات الأمنية التي تواجهها من خلال خطر الإرهاب وعوامل الجوانب التصاعدية للعمليات العسكرية التي تقوم بها الجماعات الجهادية المتطرفة. وأيضاً خطر الحروب الأهلية في دول الجوار وخطر تقسيم وظهور كيانات مستقلة. واختتم المقال ببعض الاستنتاجات وهي أن هناك جملة من المصالح الحيوية والأهداف المحورية التي تسعي أية سياسة خارجية بما فيها السياسة الخارجية المغربية إلي تحقيقها وحمايتها، وخاصة تلك التي يساوي تحقيقها وحمايتها وجود الدولة كالتنمية الاقتصادية وحماية الأمن القومي والوحدة الترابية. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The research aimed at presenting opportunities and challenges for neighboring and Sahel countries towards the model of Moroccan politics. The research dealt with two main axes. The first discussed the economic competition of the major international powers on the countries of the African continent and the opportunities of the Kingdom of Morocco to benefit from it. That is through the presentation of a set of mechanisms and procedures that the United States aimed to monitor and the adoption of a modern and effective foreign policy for Morocco. The second axis followed Morocco's foreign policy and the security challenges it faces through the threat of terrorism and the escalating aspects of military operations carried out by radical jihadist groups. In addition, the axis tackled the danger of civil wars in the neighboring countries and the danger of the division and emergence of independent entities. The article concluded by some results stating that there are a number of vital interests and central objectives that any foreign policy, including the Moroccan foreign policy, seeks to achieve and protect. That includes especially those that achieving and protecting it equal the mere existence of the state, such as the economic development and the protection of national security and territorial integrity.
