المستخلص: This study aims to tackle important issue in Modern Iraqi history , Al-Umma Socialist Party . it is Pro-royal party , of remarkle role in Iraqi political process in royal period . The part is characterized by his various activities and attitudes towards political , social and economical issues . The study is of four chapters , conclusion and appendices , plus introduction . - The first chapter investigates the history of political parties in Iraq , the secret and public ones . it reveils the roots of Al-Umm social party and the parties authorized by Tawifiq Al-Siwedi Cabinet znd of April in 1946 . - The Second chapter studies the March of AlUmma party , its establishment , and doctrines , which was of five sections , as follow : Iraqi foreign affairs , interior affairs , financial policy , economical policy , social and cultural policy . Then the chapters studies the social bask ground of the party founders , and other parties attitude , in Iraq , toward AlUmma social party establishment . - The third chapter covers the party organizational development from June 1951 to August 1954 . its by-law , its branches and political activities , its newspapers , Particularly AlUmma and Al-Nabih papas , its conferences and annual meeting , and the end of the party political activity . - The fourth chapter studies the party attitudes towards interior issues and the political economical , and social policies , the main of are attitudes towards 23 rd November 1952 uprising , Iraqi Cabinets , democratic issue , parliamentary placation , and the party breakup by Noori Al-Saied Cabinet on 28 September 1954 , Oil treaties Iraqi government and Oil Companies investing in Iraq , plus party attitudes towards Arab and international issues : Arab unity , Palestine issue , and Syria , Egypt and Magarebi countries international blokes in Middle East , and ivart political and economical developments . The main results of the study : - AlUmma socialist party , founded by Salih Jabir in June 1951 , is considered apolitical party of instrumental role in Iraqi political life . The party focused its activities on political side and reinforced the democracy and parliamentary process . - Despite the fact that the party is moderate reformist , the party had not followed its doctrines where the interests and wishes of his members has been the main factors in party policy decision . - The party was a weak party , but it was able , in short period of time , to gather large number of political characters , sheikhs , in all Iraqi province , to be members in it . - The party had wsed socialist slogans , but it did not believe in them , where it followed up the deterioration political process in Iraq and issued many . - Statement Commenting on them .
