المستخلص: This theses consist of a very deep study of the blind poets and the effect of their blindness on their psychology and relationship with other poets in the Islamic society at their time, and how did the complexity of blindness developed and reflected negatively and positively on their thoughts and impressions on their poetry, and how did their blindness had an exaggerated effect over their poetic innovation. Because of the time was restricted between (the third and fourth centuries), so the study was restricted on the main poets of this era. So, the study here focused on the effect of the senses – smelling, seeing, listening and touching- over their poetry. This senses had its extent over the blind poets' poetry and its effect on their expressions, pictures, proverbs, similarities and their level of thinking and realizing things. Thus, it became a very wonderful artistic study for the artistic picture of the poetry of those poets, and the effect of the psychological condition and the pessimistic look over life and the corresponding of the senses on their poetry till they produced this very wonderful and constructive literary heritage in the Arabic and Islamic poetry.
