المستخلص: This study aims to examine the effectiveness of country image of Saudi Arabia on domestic holiday destination. The study intends to evaluate the country image as a motivation tool to attract the citizens to spend their vacation inside the country. There are different aspects of culture being observed to measure the level of acceptance in respect to tourism in general toward the Saudis citizens. The national resources in this study considered as a major attraction point while the heritage site deem to be as a supportive element. Country of origin has a great deal of observed in order to obtain the citizen view in this regard. This can help the local authority in the kingdom to reposition itself in better place as well as help the citizen to gain the benefits from tourism. The finding of this study in relation to culture element indicates that there is an acceptance in regard to tourism. The Saudi national resources have a great impact on holiday destination while the heritage sites showed moderate impact on the choice. Country of origin need more consideration as a results showed that COO has weak to moderate impact among the citizens. The methodology of this study is positivism/conductive approach. The questionnaire is the chosen method of data collection.
