هدفت الدراسة التعرف على أبعاد الشخصية الرئيسة (العدائية، الالتزام، النشاط العام، التعاطف، العصابية) مستوى قلق المستقبل لدى عينة الدراسة، كذلك التعرف على العلاقة بين السمات الشخصية وقلق المستقبل لديهم، واستخدم المنهج الوصفي، حيث اختارت الباحثة عينة عشوائية من طالبات الدراسات العليا بمرحلة الدبلوم - كلية التربية بجامعة الملك عبد العزيز، واشتملت العينة على عدد (٥٣) طالبة، وقد تراوحت أعمارهن ما بين (٢٤— ٢٨ سنة) بمتوسط أعمار قدره (٢٦ سنة). وتم جمع البيانات بتطبيق مقياس قلق المستقبل — إعداد/ زينب شقير(٥ ٢٠٠)، ومقياس سمات الشخصية إعداد/ فاروق عبد الفتاح موسى(د.ت)، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة تمتع الطالبات بدرجة عالية من العدائية و بدرجة متوسطة من الالتزام والنشاط والتعاطف، وبدرجة منخفضة من العصابية وقلق المستقبل، كما تبين وجود علاقة ارتباط طردي دال إحصائيا بين سمة العصابية وقلق المستقبل، وكذلك وجود علاقة ارتباط طردي دال إحصائيا بين سمة النشاط وقلق المستقبل، بينما في حين تبين وجود عدم ارتباط دال إحصائيا بين قلق المستقبل وكلا من السمات: (العدائية، الالتزام، التعاطف)٠
The study aimed to identify the dimensions of the main personality traits (hostile, commitment, public activity, empathy, neuroticism) and the level concern the future of the study sample, as well as to identify the relationship between personality traits and the future anxiety, descriptive method was used where the researcher has chosen the random sample of students in studies higher Diploma stage - Faculty of Education at the University of King Abdul Aziz, the sample included a number (53) female students, ages ranged between (24-28 years old) with an average age of (26 years). Data was collected applying a measure of future anxiety - Setup / Zeinab Choucair (2005), and the measure of personality traits Setup / Farouk Abdel Fattah Moses, and the results showed that the students have a high degree of hostility and a medium degree of commitment and activity, compassion, and low-grade of neuroticism and the future anxiety, also show a correlation direction statistically significant between trait neuroticism and the future anxiety, as well as a correlation direction statistically significant between the of activity trait and concern the future anxiety, while, while showing a lack of correlation statistically significant between the future anxiety and both of the features anxiety traits of (hostile , commitment, compassion)
