المستخلص: The study attempts to investigate the modem trends that used to improve the strategies of teaching reading to the Libyan secondary school students who study English language as a foreign language. This study employs a quasi-experimental study design, one of the most common forms of the quantitative research paradigm. It seeks to obtain quantitative data in the form of a questionnaire which attempts to obtain feedback from a sample of students and EFL secondary school teachers. Moreover, it aims to show how an integrated reading programs, delivered as an effective and motivating method to teach English language. The most important results of the study are that: Most students agreed with the ease of integration in using computers in planning their English course, and the majority of students indicated that, the tradi-technology approach was enjoyable in learning reading skills. It recommends that: Students should be grounded in computer skills as well as networking. As well as the effect of technology in teaching EFL in Libya should be recognized, because CALL will benefit Libyan students' communication if well fallowed, in teaching reading lessens.
