المستخلص: The research included a field study of the trends of non-governmental organizations in Iraq to support the political participation of women to determine the importance of the role of women in building the human and the nation, which requires us to seriously promote the reality of women towards achieving themselves and enable them to participate actively and real in the process of national construction away from exclusion and marginalization, In political and social public affairs on the basis of a cognitive and cultural perspective:- 1- Exchange programs and expertise with international organizations and strengthen their contacts to support the establishment of joint activities and activities and increase cooperation with local NGOs to develop their capacity to conduct scientific research to increase their effectiveness in supporting the advancement of women. 2- Focus on the impact of the means of reading, audio and visual communication in public awareness and mobilization in general and women's public in particular, and the definition of their rights, which were approved by the modern Iraqi constitutions and Arab conventions of human rights and international conventions, through media messages to raise awareness of women’s rights and education. 3- Establish a center for women's affairs to document information related to women's activities and public participation. Therefore, cooperation between researchers in media, social, psychological, legal and political studies should be undertaken to improve the status of women and their role in the process of community development. 4- Addressing the lack of vision and relying on planning in the practice of non-govemmental organizations for their communication activities in relation to political participation, which is an obstacle to the development of plans and the implementation of their programs in support of women's political empowerment and access to decision¬making positions.
