المستخلص: The thesis is about establishing and managing an offshore wind farm in (Aqaba). The project consists of 40 wind turbine, each approximately is 120 meter tall; the space between turbines is 630 meter. The wind farm would be sited offshore near-shore. From there, undersea cables would transmit power to an onshore distribution grid. The project would have an installed nameplate capacity of approximately 100 megawatts (MW) of electricity. The proposed project used wind power to generate 125.6 Gigawatt (GW) annually and dispense of 236,103.4 barrel of oil which imported to generate the same amount of electrical power, as well as the environmental issue when the project seeks to reduce polluting gases which emits to the air, including carbon dioxide gas (CO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxide (NOX). This thesis provides a comprehensive analysis of the benefits from different aspects and the costs of the proposed wind farm, examined from both environmental and economical perspectives.
