المستخلص: أصبح شعار التقدم للأمام Moving Ahead لكثير من الفعاليـات والملتقيات المتخصصة علـى المستوى الدولي في الفترة الأخيرة هو العنوان لهذه الفعاليات، والدراسة الحالية تحاول تتبع جهود الجمعيات والمؤسسات المهنية الدولية والوطنية في مجال المكتبات والمعلومات في وضع رؤية للمستقبل ووضع الخطط والاستراتيجيات المستقبلية، ومن أبرز هذه الجهود جهود الاتحاد الدولي لجمعيات المكتبات ووضع ومؤسساتها في وضع رؤية عالمية للإفلا IFLA global vision. وقد تداخلت وأثرت المتغيرات الاقتصادية والتقنية والاجتماعية والتعليمية والسياسية على تحديد مسارات المستقبل لكل التخصصات والمؤسسات في المجتمع، والمكتبات ومراكز المعلومات ودور الوثائق والأرشيف في قلب هذه المتغيرات فهي الذاكرة التي تحفظ المعرفة الجديدة، وهي أولى المؤسسات التي تعلم بوجودها، وبالتالي فهي من أكثر المؤسسات تأثرا بها. وتهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى وضع رؤية وأهداف للجمعيات المهنية الوطنية العربية وذلك من خلال دراسة وتحليل ما تقوم به الجمعيات والمؤسسات العالمية في تخصص المكتبات والمعلومات للخروج برؤية ورسالة وأهداف يمكن تطبيقها على الجمعيات والمؤسسات المهنية العربية، ومعايير الرسالة الجيدة ومحتوياتها، وخطوات صياغتها، والصعوبات التي قد تواجه عملية إعداد الرسالة والحلول الممكنة لها، مع إعطاء أمثلة تطبيقية لرسالة عدد من الجمعيات المهنية العالمية. واتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لتغطية مواقع الجمعيات والاتحادات المهنية العربية للمكتبات والمعلومات على شبكة الإنترنت وبعض مواقع الجمعيات الأجنبية، وفي نهاية الدراسة محاولة لتقديم نموذج مقترح للتخطيط الاستراتيجي لرؤية وأهداف للجمعيات المهنية الوطنية العربية بشكل يتماشى مع تقاليد وثوابت وطموحات المجتمع العربي.

The economic, technical, social, educational and political variables have influenced the future paths of all disciplines and institutions in society, libraries: information centers, and the role of documents and archives in the heart of these variables. This is the memory that preserves the new knowledge and is the first institution to learn about its existence. Affected by it. The present study aims at establishing a vision and objectives for the Arab National Professional Societies through studying and analyzing the activities of the international associations and institutions in the field of libraries and information in order to achieve a vision, mission and objectives that can be applied to Arab professional associations and institutions, the standards of the good message and its contents, The process of preparing the message and possible solutions, giving practical examples of the message of a number of international professional associations, The study followed the analytical descriptive method to cover the websites of Arab professional societies and associations for libraries and information on the Internet and some sites of foreign societies. At the end of the study, an attempt was made to present a proposed model for strategic planning for the vision and objectives of the Arab national professional societies in line with the traditions and constants and ambitions of the Arab society
