المستخلص: يهدف البحث إلى معرفة أهم مصادر المعلومات الإلكترونية المتوفرة في المكتبة المركزية للجامعة التكنولوجية والتعرف على الإيجابيات التي تتحقق للمستفيدين نتيجة استخدامهم لهذا النوع من المصادر، استخدم المنهج المسحي واعتمدت استبانة وزعت على عينة عشوائية من المستفيدين بلغ عددهم (50) مستفيدا. توصل البحث إلى جملة استنتاجات منها: 1. أن أغلب المستفيدين الذين يستخدمون مصادر المعلومات الإلكترونية في الجامعة التكنولوجية هم طلبة الدراسات العليا من طلبة الماجستير وطلبة الدكتوراه أما أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية فقد كانت نسبتهم أقل منهم. 2. يتفق غالبية التدريسيين وطلبة الدراسات العليا في الجامعة التكنولوجية ويؤكدون من إجاباتهم أن استخدامهم للمصادر الإلكترونية أعلى بكثير من المصادر التقليدية التي تقادمت نوعا ما. 3. يتفق أغلب الباحثين استخدامهم لمصادر المعلومات الإلكترونية المتوفرة باللغة الإنكليزية إذ أن أغلب الباحثين يميلون للمصادر الأجنبية أكثر من العربية لحداثتها من جانب وقلة المصادر العربية في موضوع دراسة الباحث من جانب أخر. أما أهم المقترحات التي تم وضعها في البحث فكانت كالآتي: 1- ضرورة القيام بتوفير مصادر المعلومات باللغة العربية بشرط أن تكون هذه المصادر من النوع الذي يتسم بحداثة المعلومات التي تحتويها. 2- ضرورة توفير لوحة إعلانات توضح مصادر المعلومات الإلكترونية المتوفرة في المكتبة. 3- ضرورة القيام بإنشاء دليل خاص بالمكتبة وأن يتضمن تعريف المستفيد بما يصل إليها من مصادر معلومات إلكترونية في مجال تخصصه.

The research aims to find out the most important sources of electronic information available in Central Library Technological University and learn about the pros have realized the beneficiaries as a result of the use of this type of sources, use the survey method and adopted a questionnaire distributed to a random sample of beneficiaries of the library. The research found among the conclusions of which: 1-that most beneficiaries who use electronic sources of information at the University of Technology are graduate students from the master's and doctoral students, students of either faculty members were accounted for less of them. 2-consistent majority of faculty and graduate students at the University of Technology and assert their answers that the use of electronic sources much higher than traditional sources, which is somewhat outdated. 3-Most researchers agree their use of electronic sources of information available in English as the most researchers tend to foreign sources over the timeliness of the Arab side and the lack of Arabic sources on the subject of study by another researcher. The most important proposals that have been developed in the research were as follows: 1. The need for the provision of information sources in the Arabic language, provided that these sources are of the kind which is characterized by the novelty of the information they contain. 2. The need to provide bulletin board describes the electronic information sources available in the library. 3. The need for the establishment of a special guide the library and include a definition of the beneficiary including up to it from sources in the field of electronic information T-khass.
