المستخلص: يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على واقع استخدام مصادر المعلومات الإلكترونية لدى طلاب كلية الآداب بجامعة طرطوس، وأهم أنواع مصادر المعلومات الإلكترونية التي يستخدمها طلبة كلية الآداب، والتعرف على الصعوبات التي تعيق استخدامهم لهذه المصادر الإلكترونية، بالإضافة إلى تقديم مقترحات لتعزيز مهارات استخدام مصادر المعلومات الإلكترونية لديهم. وللوصول للهدف المنشود فقد استخدم المنهج الميداني كونه الأنسب لفهم الحالة المدروسة ودراسة واقعها بدقة، ولجمع البيانات التي تخدم الدراسة قامت الباحثة بتصميم استبانة وزعت على عينة عشوائية من طلاب كلية الآداب. وخلصت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج منها أن أهم أسباب استخدام مصادر المعلومات الإلكترونية هو سرعة الوصول إلى المعلومة، وإمكانية الرجوع إليها في وقت آخر، بالإضافة إلى اعتمادهم على أنفسهم في عملية البحث والاسترجاع. أما التوصيات فهي العمل على تنمية مجموعات المكتبة وتنظيم دورات تدريبية لتعليم الطلاب كيفية الاستخدام والتعامل مع مصادر المعلومات الإلكترونية بالشكل الذي يلبي احتياجاتهم، والعمل على توفير قاعات إنترنت في الجامعة تتيح للطلاب والباحثين والدراسيين البحث والدراسة واسترجاع المعلومات من خلالها.

The research aims to identify the reality of the use of electronic information sources among students of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Tartous and the most important types of electronic information sources used by students of the Faculty of Arts and identify the difficulties that hinder the use of these reference works, in addition to proposals to enhance the skills of using electronic information sources for them. To achieve the desired goal, the field methodology was used as the most appropriate to understand the situation studied and study the reality accurately, and to collect data that serve the study the researcher designed a questionnaire distributed to a random sample of students of the Faculty of Arts. The study reached a set of results and recommendations, the most important reasons for using electronic information sources' it is the speed of access to the information, and the possibility of referring to it at another time, in addition to their self-reliance in the search and retrieval process. As for the recommendations, they are working on developing library collections and organizing training courses to teach students how to use and deal with electronic information sources in a way that meets their needs, and work to provide internet halls at the university that allow students, researchers and scholars to search, study and retrieve information through them.
