المستخلص: استهدف هذا البحث القيام بدراسة تقويمية في مدى توفر واستخدام الوسائل التعليمية في تدريس الرياضيات لطلاب المرحلة الابتدائية بمدينة نجران، وفي سبيل ذلك قام الباحث بإجراء تحليل لمحتوى الموضوعات الواردة بالمحتوى، ومن ثم قام الباحث بإعداد أدوات البحث التي تمثلت في: - أعداد الباحث لاستبانة للتعرف على: - ما مدى توافر الوسائل التعليمية التي يمكن استخدامها في تدريس مقرر الرياضيات؟ - ما مدى استخدام الوسائل التعليمية في تدريس مقرر الرياضيات؟ بالإضافة إلى مقابلة أعضاء هيئة التدريس في تخصص مناهج وطرق تدريس رياضيات في كليات التربية لأجل التعرف على الوسائل التعليمية التي ينبغي توافرها في المدرسة لأجل استعمالها في تحقيق أهداف تدريس الرياضيات، فضلاً عن تعرف بعض المعوقات التي تحول دون استعمال الوسائل التعليمية في المدارس عند تدريس الرياضيات. وقد توصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج كان من أهمها: 1- أن المعلمين بحاجة إلى انعقاد المزيد من الدورات التدريبية حول إنتاج الوسائل التعليمية للمناهج الدراسية عامة ومقررات تدريس الرياضيات خاصة. 2- الحاجة إلى التعرف على أكبر قدر ممكن من الوسائل التعليمية التي يمكن توظيفها في المرحلة التعليمية المذكورة خاصة في مجال الرياضيات ويكون لها فاعلية في تعليم المفاهيم الرياضية لديهم وذلك من خلال التعرف على الدراسات السابقة التي استخدمت فيها نفس هذه الوسائل والتعرف على نتائجها. كما اتضح من نتيجة الاستبانة أن المعلمين اقترحوا أن يترك الأمر لمعلم الرياضيات حسب اختياره يشرح بالطريقة التي تناسبه لأن الأغلبية يؤيدون الشرح على السبورة العادية بالقلم يقولون هو أنفع ويختضر الوقت ويوصل المعلومة بسرعة ولم تجدي معهم الوسائل الأخرى. ولذلك قد أوصى البحث بمجموعة من التوصيات كان من أهمها: 1- ضرورة قيام الإدارة المدرسية بتصميم الوسائل التعليمية وتشجيع المعلمين على استعمالها في بيئة صفية مناسبة. 2- العمل على تعيين فنى وسائل تعليمية في المدارس يعمل على تعريف المعلمين بأسس استخدام الوسائل التعليمية. 3- التوجيه الفاعل لزيادة الميزانية المخصصة للوسائل التعليمية، وتخصيص مكان لعرض الوسائل التعليمية وحفظها، وتزويد المعلمين بمعلومات حديثة عن الوسائل التعليمية، ومصادر الحصول عليها.

This research aimed to conduct an evaluative study on the availability and use of educational methods in teaching mathematics to elementary school students in Najran city, and for this the researcher conducted an analysis of the content of the topics contained in the content, and then the researcher prepared the research tools that were: The researcher prepared a questionnaire to identify: - What is the availability of educational aids that can be used in teaching a mathematics course؟ - What is the extent of using educational aids in teaching the mathematics course? In addition to interviewing faculty members in the curricula and methods of teaching mathematics in the Faculties of Education in order to identify the educational methods that should be available in the school in order to use them to achieve the goals of teaching mathematics, in addition to knowing some of the obstacles that prevent the use of educational methods in schools when teaching mathematics. The research reached a set of results, the most important of which were: 1- Teachers need to hold more training courses on producing teaching aids for curricula in general and mathematics teaching courses in particular. 2- The need to get to know the largest possible amount of educational means that can be employed in the aforementioned educational stage, especially in the field of mathematics, and to have effectiveness in teaching mathematical concepts to them by getting acquainted with previous studies in which these same methods were used and their results. It was also evident from the results of the questionnaire that the teachers suggested that the matter be left to the mathematics teacher, according to his choice, to be explained in the way that suits him, because the majority support the explanation on the regular blackboard with the pen, they say it is more useful and shortens the time and communicates the information quickly, and other means did not work with them. Therefore, the research recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which were: 1- The need for the school administration to design educational aids and encourage teachers to use them in an appropriate classroom environment. 2- Working on appointing a teaching aids technician in schools to familiarize teachers with the basics of using educational aids. 3- Active guidance to increase the budget allocated to educational aids, allocate a place to display and preserve educational aids, and provide teachers with up-to-date information on educational aids and sources for obtaining them.
