المستخلص: نعيش اليوم في عصر ثورة المعلومات وتطور التقنيات الاتصالية، بما أفرزته من تقنيات ووسائل مستحدثة وطرق اتصال غير مألوفة، وما وفرته من نقل وتبادل للمعلومات والتفاعل وتبادل الرؤى والنقاش مما يساعد في التعرف على وجهات النظر في الأخبار المنشورة أو الموضوعات المطروحة، وتعتبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي من الوسائل والأساليب الاتصالية الأكثر انتشارا على شبكة الإنترنت، لما تتمتع به من مميزات مثل السرعة في نشر الأخبار والمعلومات وتخطي حاجز الجغرافيا وحرية التعبير، فهي تؤدي دورا رئيسا في صياغة أنشطة الإنسان الرئيسة، وهذا ما يدفع النخبة للاعتماد عليها للخصائص والمميزات التي تتميز بها، ويتناول البحث اعتماد النخبة على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي للحصول على الأخبار في الأزمات-دراسة حالة الاعتداء الإرهابي على مدينة تكريت-شارع الزهور بتاريخ 4/4/2017 وذلك لمعرفة أي الوسائل اعتمدت عليها النخبة أثناء الأزمة وما هي أسباب هذا الاعتماد والتأثيرات التي أحدثته لدى النخبة، وذلك من خلال إجراء دراسة ميدانية على عينة من أساتذة جامعة تكريت، لان قدرة وسائل الإعلام على التأثير تزداد عندما تقوم هذه الوسائل بوظيفة نقل المعلومات بشكل مستمر ومكثف، وكلما أزداد أدراك الفرد للخطر في البيئة المحيطة به زادت علاقة اعتماده المكثف على وسائل الإعلام.

The Academic Elite Depending On the Social Media Sites To Get Information In Crises. (Study of the terrorism offensive on Hai Al-Zohoor in Tikrit in 4/4/2017) Nowadays, we live in the age of information revolution and development of communication technics, which produced a new technics and means of communication, and what it provides with transmit and exchange of information and the point of view and discussing which help to recognition the point of view in the spread news or cast topics. Social media considers as means and sorts of communication which is the more spread on the world wide web, because of its characteristics like the speed in spreads of news and information and overtaking the graphic areas and the freedom of expression, which make a main role in the farming of the main human activities, and that is make the elite to depends on it because of its characteristics, the research discusses the depending of the elite on the social media sites to get the news in crises. (study of the terrorism offensive on Hai al-Zohoor in Tikrit in 4/4/2017) that is to know what is the means that the elite depends on during the crise and what is the causes of this depending and impression which it make with the elite, that is according to a field study on a sample of professors in Tikrit University, the ability of mass media to impression increasing when these means do the function of transmit of information in an interrupted concentrated way, whenever the sight of person increasing about the dangerous in his surrounding, his concentrated depending on the mass media will increase.
