المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة واقع الكفاءة الإدارية لمديري مدارس التعليم ما بعد الأساسي في محافظة جنوب الباطنة بسلطنة عمان، بالإضافة إلى بيان أثر متغيرات النوع، وسنوات الخبرة والمستوى الوظيفي على هذه الدراسة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدم الاستبانة وبعد التأكد من دلالات صدقها وثباتها طبقت على (88) فرداً من مديري المدارس ونوابهم. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن درجة واقع الكفاءة الإدارية لمديري مدارس التعليم ما بعد الأساسي في محافظة جنوب الباطنة بسلطنة عمان لدى أفراد مجتمع الدراسة كانت كبيرة؛ حيث بلغ المتوسط الحسابي للاستجابة (3.89)، كما بينت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات مجالات الاستبانة عند مستوى الدلالة (α≤0.05) تبعاً لمتغير النوع أو المستوى الوظيفي أو سنوات الخبرة في جميع المجالات. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من التوصيات أهمها: ضرورة تعديل اللائحة التنظيمية في مجال التدريب لمديري المدارس، وعقد دورات تدريبية لإدارات المدارس، وتصميم موقع إلكتروني يخص تواصل إدارات المدارس على الإنترنت من أجل التواصل وتبادل الخبرات. وضرورة توفير الدعم المادي لتطوير العملية التخطيطية الاستراتيجية في جميع جوانبها بمختلف المدارس، وتشجيع العاملين على التواصل والمشاركة الفاعلة في إنجاح الخطط الاستراتيجية المدرسية.

The study aimed at understanding the actual reality of Administrative Efficiency for the principals of the post Basic Education Schools in Batinah South Region in Oman. In addition to that, clarifying the effect of the elements of quality, years of experience and the occupational level in this study. In order to accomplish these aims, the study implemented a Questionnaire as his major tool for conducting the field study. After checking its authenticity and stability, the questionnaire was used and implemented on the study sample that consisted of 88 school principals and their assistants. The study concluded that the degree of the administrative efficiency for the Post Basic Education School principals was at a high level with the average statistically measured responses at (3.89). The results of the study also showed that there is no difference in the statistical indications between the different variables taken at the level of the function (α≤ 0.05) according to the factors of quality, occupational level or the years of experience in all fields The study came up with the following recommendations, most importantly The necessity to adjust the organizational legislative list in the field of training school principals , conducting essential workshops for school administration, designing electronic websites that concern schools' administrative communications on the internet to exchange expertise. In addition to the necessity to provide the financial support for school administrations to develop the strategic planning process in all its sides and in all schools. Also encouraging school workers to communicate and actively participate in helping to lead the school strategic planning to success.
