"Gala El Nahal and Umm Sagata areas constitute late Precambrian Alpine –type mafic-ultramafic rocks, considered, as ophiolite masses. Chromite is one of encouraging industrial mineral, occur as apaditorm type. The lenses generally aligned in the direction of schistosity or general strike of the country rocks, about 22 chromite occurrences have been recorded mostly of massive ore. Representative sample from the study area give ore ratio of 20% -50%. A shaking table method used for concentration of the ore, the best grade and recovery are (47.327%, 80.9%) table (4)." |
