المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على السلوكيات المعلوماتية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس بكلية الآداب جامعة الزاوية بليبيا من حيث تحديد مصادر المعلومات المعتمد عليها، والتعرف على القنوات المستخدمة للوصول إلى المعلومات المطلوبة، وقد اعتمدت الدراسة منهج دراسة الحالة، كما تم اعتماد استمارة لجمع البيانات تكونت من (18) سؤالا، غطت جميع الجوانب الموضوعية، وقد تم توزيع (100) استمارة كان الفاقد منها (31). كما توصلت الدراسة إلى الوقوف على المشاكل والعراقيل التي يعاني منها أعضاء هيئة التدريس، كما اقترحت بعض التوصيات التي من شأنها تذليل الصعاب أمام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بكلية الآداب الزاوية موضوع الدراسة.

The following study aimed at identifying the information behaviors of the faculty members at the Faculty of Arts, Al-Zawia University in Libya in terms of identifying the sources of the information they rely on as well as the channels they use to reach the required information. The study adopted the case study methodology. Data was collected through a questionnaire that covered all the substantive aspects. 100 questionnaires were administered but only 69 were collected. Results of the following study highlight some of the problems and obstacles experienced by faculty members. The study also gives some recommendations for the faculty members at Al-Zawia Faculty of Arts in order to overcome these difficulties.

La présente étude vise à identifier les comportements informationnels du corps enseignant de la Faculté des arts de l'Université Al-Zawia en Libye en termes d'identification des sources d'information sur lesquelles ils s'appuient ainsi que des canaux qu'ils utilisent pour obtenir les informations requises. L'étude a adopté la méthodologie de l'étude de cas. Les données ont été recueillies au moyen d'un questionnaire couvrant tous les aspects de fond. 100 questionnaires ont été administrés mais seulement 69 ont été recueillis. Les résultats de l'étude mettent en évidence certains des problèmes et obstacles rencontrés par les membres du corps professoral. L'étude donne également quelques recommandations pour les membres de la Faculté des Arts Al- Zawia afin de surmonter ces difficultés.
