المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى اختبار العلاقة بين التزام صحافة الفيديو بالمعايير المهنية والأخلاقية الحاكمة، ودورها في معالجة قضايا وأحداث المجتمع المصري، واتجاهات المزاج العام للجمهور المطالع لها من وجهة نظرهم، واعتمدت الدراسة على منهج المسح بشقيه (الوصفي والتحليلي)، وأسلوب المقارنة المنهجية، وتمثلت عينة الدراسة في 678 مفردة من الجمهور العام، تم تطبيقها عن طريق الاستبانة الإلكترونية. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن من أهم القضايا والأحداث التي تعرضها صحافة الفيديو (الجرائم الأسرية)، كما جاءت اتجاهات معالجة القضايا في صحافة الفيديو إيجابية بنسبة 43.07%، وأثبتت الدراسة صحة الفرض الخاص بوجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات المبحوثين على مقياس المزاج العام، وجاء الالتزام بالمعايير المهنية والأخلاقية أهم عوامل بقاء صحافة الفيديو من وجهة نظر الجمهور المتابع. أثبتت الدراسة صحة الفرض الذي ينص على أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات المبحوثين على مقياس متابعة قضايا وأحداث المجتمع وفقا للنوع (ذكور-إناث)، كما ثبت صحة الفرض الذي ينص على أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات المبحوثين على مقياس متابعة قضايا وأحداث المجتمع وفقا لمستوى التعليم (أقل من جامعي -جامعي -أعلى من جامعي).

The purpose of the research is to test the relationship between the commitment of video journalism to the professional and ethical standards governing it and its role in addressing the issues and events of Egyptian society and the trends of the public mood to read from their point of view. The study was based on the method of surveying and methodical comparison in both descriptive and analytical aspects, and the sample of the study was 678 individuals of the general public applied through the electronic questionnaire. The study found that one of the most important issues and events presented by video journalism (domestic crimes) as the trends in addressing issues in video journalism were positive by 43.07%. The study proved the validity of the imposition of statistically significant differences between averages of the grades of the respondents on the general mood scale and the adherence to professional and ethical standards was the most important factor for the survival of video journalism from the point of view of the following audience. The study proved the validity of the imposition that there are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the surveyed on the measure of follow- up of the issues and events of society according to the type (male-female) as well as the validity of the imposition that states that there are no statistically significant differences between the average grades of the respondents on the scale of follow-up of the issues and events of society according to the level of education (less than a university - university - higher than a university).
