المستخلص: تُبنى الحضارات مستفيدة من تطور المعارف وتلاقح مشاربها العلمية، ويتجلى هذا التطور في صور ومظاهر شتى تُنبئ بما بلغته المجتمعات من رقي وثراء وتنوع. ولعل من أبرز تجليات الإبداع الإنساني في عصرنا هذا، التصميم الحضري للمدن والأثاث الذي يُعرض في ساحاتها وفضاءاتها، والذي غدا شاهداً حياً على جوهر هذه الحضارة أو تلك، ومرآة لما بلغنه شعوبها من رفعة وسمو. وقد شهدت هذه الفترة المعاصرة بزوغ اتجاهات مختلفة تفرعت عن علم التصميم الحضري وممارساته. وهي اتجاهات أثْرى النقد أصولها ودفع بمسيرتها الفلسفية نحو أفق جديد. والفلسفة من هذا المنظور هي الحبل السري الذي تغذّت عليه تلك الاتجاهات منذ البدء، حيث أضفت على تصاميم وحدات "أثاث الشارع" المستخلصة من جذورها النظرية والتطبيقية عمقاً حضارياً بعيد الغور. يتصل بهويات الشعوب وخصوصياتهم الاجتماعية، والعرقية، والثقافية. وفي ظل استحضار هذا الثراء المعرفي، لا مناص من تعرية واقع إشكالية التصميم الحضري في علاقته ب "أثاث الشارع"، وذلك بتسليط الضوء على بعض الجوانب الملتبسة والمتصلة ببروز التجاذبات المعرفية، واحتداد التصادمات الاجتماعية، وتضارب المصالح بين القوى السياسية التي كان من الممكن أن تتناقض مع الحرية اللازمة للإبداع والابتكار. لكن، وعلى عكس ما كان متوقعاً، فإن هذه التباينات أدت بجل المصممين إلى محاولة التلاؤم مع كل قضية من القضايا المثارة والمرتبطة بالمجال العام. من هذه الزاوية المتعددة الجوانب، تناولت هذه الورقة العلمية إشكالية تصميم "أثاث الشارع" بين تحدي الضوابط الحضرية وبين إدارة فسيفساء التنوع والاختلاف. ناقش هذا المقال إذن، سبل مواجهة التحديات الحضرية بالنسبة إلى مصمم "أثاث الشارع"، فتناول إدارة التصميم في المستويين التشغيلي والاستراتيجي وتطرق إلى أبرز الاتجاهات المعاصرة في التصميم الحضري وأثاثه، ومن هذه الاتجاهات نذكر: - الاتجاه التواصلي الذي تفرع عنه اتجاهان: *اتجاه نفعي يستلهم أصوله من "ويليام جيميس" أو ما يسمى بالأداتية حسب فلسفة "جون ديوي". *اتجاه العقلانية التواصلية المبني على نظرية "هيبرماس". - الاتجاه العادل وتوسلنا في تحليل كل واحد من هذه الاتجاهات بالمناهج العلمية التطبيقية التي يعتمدها المصممون أثناء تناولهم للأطروحات الحضرية العالقة.

Civilizations are built benefiting from the development of knowledge and the cross-fertilization of their scientific paths, and this development is evident in various images and manifestations that predict the sophistication, richness and diversity of societies reached. Perhaps one of the most prominent manifestations of human creativity in our time is the urban design of cities and the furniture that is displayed in their squares and spaces, which has become a living witness to the essence of this or that civilization, and a mirror of what its people have reached of elevation and sublime. This contemporary period witnessed the emergence of various trends that branched out from the science of urban design and its practices. These trends enriched the criticism of its origins and pushed its philosophical journey to a new horizon. This is related to the peoples' social, ethnic, and cultural identities. In light of this richness of knowledge, it is inevitable to expose the reality of the urban design issue and it’s relation to "street furniture". By shedding light on some ambiguous aspects related to the emergence of knowledge tensions, the intensification of social clashes, and the conflict of interests between political forces that could have been in conflict with the freedom needed for creativity and innovation. However, and contrary to what was expected, these discrepancies led most of the designers to try and adapt to each of these issues raised related to the public sphere. From this multi-faceted angle, this scientific paper addresses the problem of designing "street furniture" between the challenge of urban controls and managing the mosaic of diversity and difference. This article discusses ways to face urban challenges for the designer of "street furniture", dealing with design management at the operational and strategic levels, and concentrating on the most prominent contemporary trends in urban design and its furniture, and from these trends, we mention: * The communicative trend, in which it branched two trends: -Utilitarianism, whose origins are inspired by William James, or what is called instrumentalism according to John Dewey's philosophy. -The direction of rationality based on the communicative Hiebermas theory. *Fair direction: We sought to analyze each of these trends with the applied scientific methods that the designers adopt as they address to unresolved urban theses.
