المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى درجة الوعي بمفهوم المواطنة لدى الطلبة في جامعة اليرموك من وجهة نظرهم، واعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وقام الباحثون بإعداد استبانة لقياس درجة وعي الطلبة بمفهوم المواطنة تكونت من (١٩) فقرة، حيث تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع طلبة جامعة اليرموك والبالغ عددهم (٣٨٠٠٨) طالبا وطالبة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (٥٠٣) طالبا وطالبة تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية المتيسرة، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن درجة الوعي بمفهوم المواطنة لدى طلبة جامعة اليرموك جاءت بدرجة (مرتفعة)؛ وكشفت النتائج عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في درجة الوعي بمفهوم المواطنة تعزى لمتغير (الجنس) وجاءت لصالح (الإناث)، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في متغير (الكلية)، وجاءت لصالح (علوم اجتماعية إنسانية)، وكشفت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير (المستوى العلمي)، يوصي الباحثون استمرار جامعة اليرموك بتفعيل دورها في تنمية الانتماء الوطني لدى الطلبة، وذلك بإغناء الخطط الدراسية بمساقات تعزز قيم المواطنة الصالحة لديهم.

The study aimed to identify the degree of awareness of the concept of citizenship among students at Yarmouk University from the students' point of view, The study adopted the descriptive survey method, The researchers prepared a questionnaire to measure the degree of students' awareness of the concept of citizenship. It consisted of (19) items, where the study community consisted of all Yarmouk University students. Their number is (38008) male and female students, and the study sample consisted of (503) male and female students who were chosen by the available random method, The results of the study showed that the degree of awareness of the concept of citizenship among Yarmouk University students was (high); The results revealed that there were statistically significant differences in the degree of awareness of the concept of citizenship due to the variable (sex) and it came in favor of (females), and there were statistically significant differences in the variable (college), and it came in favor of (human social psychology), and the results revealed the absence of significant differences A statistic attributed to the variable (scientific level), recommends that Yarmouk University continue to activate its role in the development of national be-longing among students, by enriching study plans with courses that enhance the values of good citizenship for them.
