استهدفت الدراسة التعرف على الأبعاد السياسية والاجتماعية في كتاب الأطفال المصريين خلال القرن العشرين، وقد أجريت الدراسة التحليلية التي استخدمت فيها الباحثة المنهج التحليلي النقدي على عينة موضوعية تشمل مجموعة من القصص العربية والشعر والمسرح والألغاز لرواد أدب الأطفال في مصر خلال القرن العشرين للمرحلة العمرية من (١٢-١٨) سنة ومن هؤلاء الرواد: أحمد شوقي، محمد الهراوى، كامل كيلاني، محمد سعيد العريان، أحمد محمود نجيب، محمود سالم، عبد التواب يوسف، يعقوب الشاروني. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج من أهمها أن براعة الشاعر أحمد شوقي تبدو في كتابته لشعر الأطفال على ألسنة الحيوانات باستخدام الرموز فاستخدام الشاعر للثعلب بما يتصف به من دهاء ومكر يرمز به للاحتلال البريطاني لمصر وكيف بدهائه ومكره فرض هيمنته عليها، وعاش الشاعر محمد الهراوى عصر الاستعمار البريطاني الذى عمل جاهدًا على تلوين الثقافة والتعليم بما يخدم أغراضه، ومن ثم بدأ الهراوى في مقاومة هذا الاتجاه عن طريق كتابة أشعار للأطفال مستمدة من دينهم، وأدبهم العربي وتاريخهم العريق، وحاضرهم المناضل، وعاش عبد التواب يوسف كاتبًا وقارئًا، فهو كاتب ومثقف موسوعي لديه غزارة معرفية ومعلوماتية، ولذلك أكد من خلال إبداعاته للطفل على الكثير من القيم التاريخية والدينية والعلمية، ولم يكتف يعقوب الشاروني بأن يجعل من مصر تاريخها وتراثها ومجتمعاتها، مادة خصبة لموضوعات رواياته، بل استمد جزءًا كبيرًا من عالمه القصصي من قريته شارونه التي من خلالها تنفتح أمامنا مصر بأكملها تراثًا وتاريخًا وحضارة.
Problem: The problem of the study is summarized in the following main question, What are the political and social dimensions in writings of Egyptian children's authors during the twentieth century? Objectives: The main objective of the research is to identify The political dimensions in the works of Egyptian children's writers during the twentieth century. Social dimensions in the works of Egyptian children's writers during the twentieth century, To identify the culture of the society in that period and its reflection on children's literature. Sample: An objective sample which includes a collection of Arabic stories of children's literature pioneers in Egypt during the 20th century for the (12-18) age. Type© Methodology: The study used the survey methodology in the sample, which is one of the methods used in the descriptive studies, with the benefit of the criticism school. Tools: Qualitative Content Analysis. Results: The study reached several results, the most important of which are; The poet Ahmed Shawky used the fox with its cunning and sly, symbolizing it for the British occupation of Egypt and how cunningly he was, imposed his dominance over it, The poet Muhammad Hrawi lived in the era of British colonialism, and then he began to resist this trend by writing poems for children derived from their religion, Arabic literature, ancient history, Abdel- Tawab Youssef lived as a writer and reader, as he is a writer and encyclopedic intellectual who has a wealth of knowledge and information, and Jacob Al- Sharoni derived a large part of his fictional world from his village of Sharona, through which the whole of Egypt opens up to us as a heritage, history and civilization.
