المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة التعرف على درجة الحكمة الإدارية لدى مديري الدوائر في مديريات التربية والتعليم في سلطنة عمان وعلاقتها بجودة الأداء الوظيفي للعاملين. اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، واستخدمت الاستبانة أداة للدراسة، وتكونت من 57 فقرة موزعة على ثلاثة أجزاء، هي: البيانات الديموغرافية، والحكمة الإدارية والأداء الوظيفي للعاملين، كما تم التأكد من صدقها وثباتها؛ حيث طبقت على عينة عشوائية بلغت 320 موظفا وموظفة من العاملين في مديريات التربية والتعليم في سلطنة عمان، وبينت النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة أن درجة الحكمة الإدارية لدى مديري الدوائر، ودرجة الأداء الوظيفي للعاملين في مديريات التربية والتعليم في سلطنة عمان قد جاء متوسطا، كما كشفت عن وجود علاقة إيجابية دالة إحصائيا بين الحكمة الإدارية من جهة وكل من المقدرة على أداء العمل، والبيئة والمناخ التنظيمي، والأداء الوظيفي للعاملين من جهة أخرى. واختتمت الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات، منها: ضرورة الاهتمام بمديري الدوائر من قبل القيادات العليا وتنمية مهاراتهم في مجال استشراف المستقبل وبناء الخطط المستقبلية، ومفاهيم الحكمة الإدارية، وقيام المعهد التخصصي بتقديم برامج تدريبية للعاملين في مختلف المجالات من أجل تحقيق معدلات أداء مرتفعة.

The study aims to identify the level of administrative wisdom of the directors of departments in the educational directorates in the Sultanate of Oman and its relationship to the quality of employee’s job performance. The researchers used the descriptive survey method, by designing a 57 item questionnaire divided into three parts: The demographic data, the administrative wisdom, and the employees job performance. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire items were secured. The sample of the study was chosen randomly from 320 employees working in the directorates of education in the Sultanate of Oman. Results revealed that the level of administrative wisdom of the directors of departments in the directorates of education in the Sultanate of Oman as well as the level of the job performance of workers is at a medium level. Results also revealed the existence of a positive, statistically significant relationship between administrative wisdom and each of the ability to perform work, the environment, the organizational climate, and the administrative performance of employees. The study concluded with some recommendations confirming the necessity of paying more attention to department directors of department by senior leaders in addition to developing their predictive skills in future planning, and concepts of wisdom. Moreover, the specialized institute should provide training programs in different fields in order to achieve high performance rates in their skills.
