المستخلص: يندرج هذا البحث ضمن مناهج المفسرين، ويسلط الضوء على منهج أحد العلماء المعاصرين في تفسير القرآن، وهو الدكتور عدنان محمد زرزور، وللدكتور عدنان حفظه الله سلسلة في التفسير وعلوم القرآن تتألف من اثني عشر مجلدا مطبوعة بعنوان (قلائد العقيان في علوم القرآن)، تناولت في هذا البحث الحديث عن تفسيره (المختصر في تفسير القرآن) ومنهجه فيه، ومن أبرز النتائج التي توصلت إليها: توسع الدكتور عدنان في موضوع بيان مفردات غريب القرآن، وأسباب نزول الآيات، وكذلك القراءات. ولم يتوسع الدكتور عدنان في مجال اللغة والبلاغة وأحكام القرآن والمناسبات بين الآيات والسور، ولعل السبب في ذلك سلوكه منهج الاختصار، وكون التفسير جاء على هامش المصحف الشريف، ولم يكن الدكتور عدنان في تفسيره مجرد ناقل عن تفاسير من سبقه من العلماء، بل كان يرجح ويصحح ويضعف، بقوله: (قلت، والراجح لدي) ونحوها من العبارات، التي تدل على تمكنه من علوم اللغة والتفسير، ورسوخ قدمه فيها.

This research falls under the catagory of methodology of (mufassireen) in interpreting Quran. It focuses on the methodology adopted by one of the contemporary scholars in the interpretation of Quran, namely Dr. Adnan Muhammad Zarzoor Phd. Dr. Adnan -May Allah preserve him- has written a series of books in the area of Quranic interpretation and the sciences of Quran, this seriescomes in 12 published volumes titled. (قلائد العقيان في علوم القرآن) This paper explores his tafseer book by the name (المختصر في تفسير القرآن) (a concise intrepretation of the Quran) and the methodology within. The top conclusions that I've reached studying that book are Dr. Adnan has elaborated on the unusual vocabulary in the Quran, as well as the background stories of the aayahs, (أسباب النزول) also the different modes of Quranic recitation. I also concluded, that he has not elaborated on the other aspects of linguistics and rehtoric, neither he did for the extrapolated rulings from the aayahs or the suitability and harmony of aayahs with the soorahs they come in. And perhaps the reason for that is to keep the book concise, also, this interpretation was meant to be printed on the margin of the Quranic pages, which bring in another constraint to keep information concise. There is a noteworthy point to bring forward, Dr Adnan was not a mere reporter of information taken from other previous tafseer books, rather he would assert his opinion regarding what he deems more or less valid of the different points of view. He would also point out which of the opinions have more weight over the others. ex (قلت، الراجح لدي) (i would say regarding that......., to me this has more weight to it.....etc) such examples show his mastery of linguistics and tafseer, and having a solid footing in both of these fields.
