المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن درجة تضمين بعض الاتجاهات العالمية المعاصرة في محتوى كتب الجغرافية في صفوف الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسي، من وجهة نظر مدرسي الجغرافية. وحددت مشكلة الدراسة في الإجابة عن السؤال الآتي: ما درجة توافر بعض الاتجاهات العالمية في محتوى كتب الجغرافية في صفوف الحلقة الثانية من وجهة نظر مدرسي الجغرافية في عينة من مدارس محافظة ريف دمشق؟ وللإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة اتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، واستخدم أداة البحث التي تتضمن قائمة معايير بعض الاتجاهات العالمية المعاصرة، واستبانة رأي للمدرسين وفق سلم خماسي يشير إلى درجة توافر بعض الاتجاهات العالمية في محتوى كتب الجغرافية لصفوف الحلقة الثانية تكونت عينة الدراسة من (50) مدرسا ومدرسة للجغرافية طبقت عليهم الاستبانة. وخلصت الدراسة إلى النتائج الآتية: أن النسبة العامة لبعض الاتجاهات العالمية المعاصرة كانت متوسطة ومقبولة وبلغت نسبتها (60%) وهي مقبولة، وجاءت في بعض الاتجاهات العالمية المعاصرة بنسبة جيدة وبعضها كانت بنسبة متدنية، كما أشارت الدراسة إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات استجابات المدرسين الذكور والمدرسات الإناث تعزى لمتغير الجنس، أو لمتغير سنوات الخبرة في التدريس. أوصت الدراسة مصممي وواضعي محتوى كتب الجغرافية في صفوف الحلقة الثانية إلى تعزيز بعض الاتجاهات العالمية المعاصرة في محتوى الكتب، والإفادة من الدراسة في مراحل تطوير كتب الجغرافية في المستقبل.

The study aimed to reveal the degree of including some contemporary global trends in the content of the geography books in the basic education stage- second cycle- from the point of view of the teachers of geography and the problem of the study has been identified in answering the following question: What is the degree of availability of some global contemporary trends in the content of the geography books in the basic education stage- second cycle- from the point of view of the teachers of geography on a sample of Damascus countryside schools? The researcher followed the Descriptive Analytical Approach in order to find answers to the questions of the study. The tool that is used in the research contains the standards of some global contemporary trends and a five-point-scale survey is applied on (50) teachers of geography (males and females). The survey shows the degree of availability of some global contemporary trends in the content of the geography books of the basic education stage second cycle- The results of the study: The general degree of some global contemporary trends was on average and was accepted, the percentage was (60%). The study shows that the percentage of the availability was good in some trends and low in others because they are found in the curricula of patriotism. In addition, the study shows that there are no statistical significant differences among the average teachers' (males and females) responses to the survey and this was according to the variable of gender or years of experience in teaching. The study recommends the authors of the geography curricula in the basic education stage- second cycle, to reinforce some of the global contemporary trends in the content of the books and benefit from the study during the process of developing the books of geography in the future.
