المستخلص: تشكل "التفاعلية الرمزية" (Symbolic Interactionism) أحد أهم التيارات السوسيولوجية التي فرضت نفسها نقيضا مناظرا للاتجاهات الكبرى في علم الاجتماع، مثل البنيوية والماركسية. وينظر معظم النقاد اليوم إلى التفاعلية الرمزية بوصفها نظرية سوسيولوجية متكاملة الأركان رغم حداثتها نسبيا. وقد عكف رواد هذه النظرية على تحليل الظواهر الاجتماعية الصغرى الميكروسوسيولوجية سعيا إلى فهم العلاقات التفاعلية الرمزية القائمة بين الأفراد في المجتمعات الإنسانية وتحليلها وإدراك معانيها ودلالاتها ومغازيها. وقد ركز روادها على دراسة معطيات الحياة اليومية للأفراد وفعالياتهم السوسيولوجية القائمة في مدارات اتصالهم ومسارات تفاعلهم، واعتمدوا منهجيا على تحليل الرموز والمعاني والدلالات التي تعطي معنى للتجارب الاجتماعية في الحياة اليومية. تتناول هذه الدراسة "التفاعلية الرمزية" نقدا وتحليلا، وتحاول أن تقدمها إلى القراء بما تنطوي عليه من مفاهيم وإشكاليات ومنهجيات كما تسعى إلى التعريف بأهم التيارات الداخلية والتنوعات المدرسية الأساسية لهذه النظرية، واستكشاف التناقضات القائمة بينها، وفي النهاية تحاول أن تقدم مدخلا نقديا عميقا يتناول مختلف أوجه النقد التي ظهرت في داخل النظرية، ومن خارجها وذلك ضمن رؤية الكاتب وتصوراته النقدية لهذه النظرية.

Symbolic Interactionism forms one of the sociological currents that has imposed itself as a counterpoint to major trends in sociology, such as structuralism and Marxism. Most critics today view symbolic interactionism as an integrated sociological theory, despite its relative novelty. Proponents of this theory have focused on analyzing micro sociological phenomena, aiming to understand the symbolic interactions that exist between individuals in human societies, analyze them, and perceive their meanings, implications, and hidden significance. They have concentrated on studying the daily life of individuals and their sociological activities within their communication orbits and interaction paths, methodically relying on the analysis of symbols, meanings, and implications that give meaning to social experiences in daily life. This study addresses "Symbolic Interactionism" critically and analytically, attempting to present it to readers with its inherent concepts, problems, and methodologies. It also seeks to introduce the most important internal currents and the basic scholastic diversities of this theory, and to explore the contradictions existing among them. Finally, it attempts to provide a deep critical insight that addresses various aspects of the criticism that has emerged both internally within the theory and externally, all within the author's critical vision and his critical perceptions of this theory.
