هدف البحث الحالي إلى "توضيح دور ترجمة الخطط الدراسية والوثائق الهامة المرتبطة بتطوير المناهج الدراسية بكليات جامعة الطائف إلى اللغة الانجليزية في تحقيق الاعتماد التربوي إنطلاقاً وإيماناً من قيادات الجامعة بأهمية الدور الذي يمكن أن تلعبه جامعة الطائف في الفترة القادمة حيث تطمح الجامعة للحصول على الاعتماد الأكاديمي. ذلك الأمر الذي يتطلب ضرورة الترجمة الدقيقة والمتخصصة للخطط الدراسية لجميع الكليات وما تشتمل عليه من رؤية ورسالة وأهداف منبثقة من رؤية وأهداف الجامعة. كما تساعد ترجمة هذه الوسائل الهامة على وضع جامعة الطائف على الخريطة العالمية حيث تكون هذه الوثائق المترجمة بمثابة خطوة على طريق الاعتماد وكذلك خطوة لدعوة الآخر ليطلع على الثقافة السعودية العريقة باللغة الأجنبية التي هي مفتاح المستقبل وسلاح الأجيال لتحقيق التنافس العالمي.
The present study aims at translating course outlines and all other important documents related to Curricula -Reform of some colleges at Taif university from Arabic into English language. This comes as a result of the strong belief of stakeholders in the important and significant international role that Taif university can play especially in the near future as it seeks to achieve quality assurance and accreditation. This matter will, definitely, require accurate and professional translation of all documents in general and of the course outlines and documents related to education reform in particular. For example, visions, missions ,aims, and objectives., of the university colleges., etc. Such kind of translation will allow the university to be well presented in the world map . Translating such documents will also be a step forward not only to achieve accreditation, but also to invite others" foreigners" to read and know more about the great Saudi Arabian culture using their own language. Finally, This translation reflects and confirms the importance of English as a real golden and instant key for future Saudi generation to compete internationally... The present study has ended up with some important recommendations. One of these recommendations addressed stakeholders to post these translated documents on the electronic gate of the university . \
