هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع الأنشطة الطلابية ومعرفة المعوقات التي تحول دون إقامة مثل هذه الأنشطة ومشاركة الطالبات فيها داخل المدارس الثانوية في محافظة صامطة كما تراها الطالبات والتي تجعل البيئة المدرسية جاذبة لهن. ولقد استخدم المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتمثلت أداة الدراسة في استبيان مفتوح الطرف مكون من ثلاث محاور رئيسة وهي: الواقع الفعلي للأنشطة الطلابية اللاصفية في البيئة المدرسية الحالية، ومعوقات إقامة الأنشطة ومشاركة الطالبات فيها، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (200) طالبة من طالبات المدارس الثانوية بمحافظة صامطة من مختلف التخصصات العلمية والأدبية ومختلف المراحل الدراسية. وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن غالبية عينة الدراسة من الطالبات يؤكدن على أهمية الأنشطة الطلابية (اللاصفية) في البيئة المدرسية٠ فقد ذكرن أن الأنشطة تزيد من الإسهام في ترسيخ القيم الإسلامية الاجتماعية البناءة كما تساعدهم على التفاعل مع مجتمعهم المسلم وتعويدهن على تحمل المسئولية والاعتماد علي النفس واكتساب الميول والاتجاهات السليمة، ومن أبرز معوقات إقامة الأنشطة من وجهة نظر الطالبات هي ضعف عوامل الجذب في الأنشطة، والشعور بالخجل من ممارستها وعدم وجود محفزات لتشجيع الطالبات على الاشتراك في الأنشطة، كما أنها لا ترتبط بالمواد الدراسية. وتتعارض مع مواعيد الحصص الدراسية؛ وضعف الموارد والإمكانات اللازمة لممارسة الأنشطة. ولم يتضح فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الأنشطة اللاصفية تعزي لنوع المدرسة أو المستوي الدراسي،كما قدمت الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات أكدت ضرورة الاهتمام بإزالة المعوقات التي اتفقت عليها عينة الدراسة والتي تؤدي إلى عدم مشاركة الطلاب في الأنشطة اللاصفية وإعداد مشرفين ومشرفات مدربين ومتخصصين في تطوير وتنفيذ الأنشطة اللاصفية، وقائمة بأنشطة متطورة وقابلة للتنفيذ تواكب هذا العصر المتقدم وتراعي احتياجات المجتمع وذلك لجميع المراحل التعليمية
The study aims to identifv the current extra-curricular activities; discover the obstacles hampering the running of such activities, and examine the participation in them by the female students in secondary schools across the Samta district. The study will question if the school environment is attractive enough for the girls to take up extra activities. The methodology used is descriptive analysis, and the tool involved in the study is an open ended questionnaire based on three main themes: \\ 1-The actual status of the students’ activities in all the classes in their current school environment. \\ 2- The obstacles hindering the performance of those activities. \\ 3- Their female students’ participation \\ The study was compromised of 200 secondary school female students in Samta district of various arts and science specialization at different school stages. \\ The study concluded that the majority of girls in the study sample agree and confirm that the extra-curricular activities in their school environment as a whole are important. The students mentioned that those activities increase degree of participation in emphasizing the constructive social Islamic values, as well as helping them to interact with their Islamic society, and be used to shoulder responsibility and self-independence and building up peaceful tendencies. One of the distinct obstacles in performing and practicing those activities, according to the point of view of the female students, is the inadequacy of the factors of attraction to the activities. Also, the students are shy to practice and there are no incentives to encourage the female students to participate in the activities. Additionally, these activities are not connected to their school studies. \\ The extra-curricular activities contradict with the lessons timetable, while there’s also a shortage of equipment and facilities necessary for practicing those activities. No evident statistical differences were noticed in the extra activities that relate to the type of school or the academic standards. The researcher recommended the importance of caring for working on overcoming the obstacles that were agreed upon by the study sample, and which result in the non-participation of the students in the activities. Another recommendation is the recruitment of supervisors of (both sexes) who are trained and specialized in development and implementation of the extra-curricular activities. A further recommendation is the preparation of a list of advanced activities which are implementable and coping with the contemporary advanced present century taking into consideration the need and requirements of the society. This should be for all stages of school education
