The research aims at collecting of distinction in the most splendid style, the Glorious Qur’an style, the disclosing of the aspects colouring of this style through syntax and semantics, and the showing of the significance of syntactic study at uncovering the semantic meaning in the shade of Qur’anic systematization. Besides, the research has a view of a group of difference issues concerning syntactic subjects and the call for interpretation and guiding of grammarians. This thesis endeavors at disclosing the concept of distinction linguistically and idiomatically, its definition, its rendering, its subjunctive mood, its genitive case and deviation with its operator. The first chapter included the single distinction. It contains the distinction of accusative number, the genitive one, the numerative, the semi-numerative and the nouns that indicate summation like “ Kam “, and “ Ka’ain “. The second chapter tackled the attributive distinction. It included the distinction that is transferred from the subject and object, the distinction of praise and blame verbs, the distinction of preference verbs and the distinction that occur after the exclamatory verb. The study concluded certain results. The most important ones are as follows: 1- Distinction has many nominations: interpretations, interpreter, disambiguation, disambiguating, and the distinguishing. 2- The origin of distinction is rendering, what comes definite has something to do with interpretation. 3- Transformation in syntactic structure has many semantic rhetorical meanings, which is necessitated by the Glorious Qur’an context. 4- Distinction has been mentioned in the Glorious Qur’an in nine kinds: five have been accusative and the others were genitive. They were ordered as follows: A- Distinction of the accusative noun was mentioned seventeen times in the Glorious Qur’an. B- Distinction of the genitive verb was mentioned seventy five times in the Glorious Qur’an. C- Distinction of “ ka’ain “ was mentioned seven times in the Glorious Qur’an. Its distinction was preceded by “ man “. D- “ Kam “, which was preceded by its Distinction was mentioned eighteen times in the Glorious Qur’an. E- The genitive Distinction of “ man “ in the Glorious Qur’an was mentioned twenty five times. F- Distinction of preference verbs was mentioned seventy nine times in the Glorious Qur’an. G- Distinction of praise and blame verbs and their complements of verbs in the Glorious Qur’an was mentioned thirty eight times. H- The usual distinction in the Glorious Qur’an which was preceded by the verb “ kafa “, was mentioned twenty five times. 5- Many evidences of distinction in the Glorious Qur’an were mentioned and their distinction was elided. This indicates that its elipsis is permitted in the Glorious Qur’an. 6- I’d like to mention that the Glorious Qur’an is the most important source of manifesting this linguistic phenomenon, and keeping it and the linguistic heritage away from loss.
